- Hey guys, take a look at what I've been doing with the 3D printer, got a bunch of really cool diorama and accessory pieces like R1-G4, cantina booth, Emperor's throne and Death Star trash compactor.

Having grown up with the vintage figures, 3.75" is my favourite scale for sure (although I have been sucked into the 6" scale vortex)

Very impressed. I think this takes collecting in a whole new interesting direction. I wonder how a Predator trophy wall / skulls etc. would go? Something to add to the list maybe. Subbed to your new channel too.
Thank you sir! I'm still working out what can and can't be 3D printed well but it's definitely interesting and a lot of fun. I have looked into some Predator and Aliens stuff, I had the same thought about trophies and other accessories but that's a work in progress. I really need to learn how to use CAD software so I can come up with my own designs.

I'm bit amazed I haven't seen any video where someone has tried 3D printing and up scaling the old kenner micro playsets especially Cloud City or Death Star I'm guessing Hoth would be a monster but others would be beautiful even if the special features couldn't carry over
That's a really interesting idea, if I knew how to 3D model I would have a crack at that for sure. Better get off my backside and learn how to 3D model I guess.
Just picture Cloud City the playset we never really got in figure line I'm guessing many features may be lost but a good paint job hell even LEDs and have Vader and Luke face off. I said Hoth would be a monster but maybe it would be the most forgiven to start with since its mainly ice drifts surrounding parts of a base. I hope these thoughts get the imagination running
So cool! Been wanting to get a 3d printer because it's highly unlikely a licensed Black Series Scale Falcon will ever get made haha

Absolutely amazing Babbling Booby! The trash compactor walls and door is so cool! That would be great for the upcoming Black Series trash compactor Luke. Also, I will be very interested in the Emperor's chair, if Hasbro releases a Archive Emperor Palpatine. Which I think they almost have to since the original was so terrible, hopefully in wave 3.
Thanks Dave, I agree completely about the original Black Series Emperor, it's horrible. I honestly printed the trash compactor diorama without considering the upcoming Luke release but yeah it works for sure.

What 3d printer are you using?
I'm using a Creality Cr-10 Mini, pretty good bang for the buck IMO

From memory I just went to "thingiverse" and just searched that site
do you have links to the .stl files by chance?
I'm pretty sure I got most if not all my my 3D models from www.thingiverse.com
What kind of plastic are these made from, ABS or PLA?
PLA, I'm still only relatively new to 3D printing and haven't tried ABS yet
A New 6" Black Series Exclusive set of Repacks and Repaints has been Revealed. I have a video posted on my channel. It includes Commander Pyre from the Resistance cartoon, Kylo Ren, a Mouse Droid and a Mountain Trooper.
The Mountain Trooper looks cool.
