I still remember when I was 3 in India. In India, golf wasn't played by anyone, but ESPN used to be shown and I used to watch Tiger Woods. I remember going to malls and going up to the golf section and practicing my shots, like Tiger. I sucked hard, but I really really wanted to play. Alas, money was a problem and I never played. But Tiger wearing his red Nike shirt punching the air was my big memory, not cricket or football. Nobody in India used to talk about golf, but everyone knew who the red shirt guy was. I adored him so hard. I always used to read the newspaper to see what he did. When his career fell off, with the car crash and everything, I still supported him. After all these years, seeing him win again, it gave me chills. It reminded me that if my hero could stand up again and win, I could. I saw myself in him so many times, from when I was 3 to now. I still play minigolf in malls and random places trying to be Tiger. I still wear a red Nike shirt because he used to wear one. Seeing him win with that red shirt gave me immense passion. What a guy and what a legend. The true mark of a legend/master is that they come back again and again to win, in their own way. Great players sparkle and shine, true masters inspire and never die. In the grand history of sports, there have so many players that were damn good, not too many are legends. In any field of sports, not too many people are legends. In golf, till the day the universe ends, Tiger will remain a legend bar none. People will tell stories of the man in red that brought the world to a green course to punch the blue sky with their fists. People will tell the story of a man that inspired a generation to play golf. Do whatever you may, but the Tiger will never die.
Fun fact: Cole Adams did a story on the St. Louis Blues and the Toronto Raptors when they hit their peak at their perspective finals and won! Now a Cole Adams does a story on Tiger Woods a few weeks before the Open Championship! In other words, TOGER WOODS is going to WIN!!!
Tiger plays into one of the greatest "What ifs" of all golf time. What if Tiger was never convinced the running was so important to his conditioning? His crazy running regime led to all those knee, leg and back problems as well as surgeries to try to repair them. Then, what if he could have avoided crashing his own cars when he drove them? Imagine what Tiger would have done with a healthy body his whole career! The records would be off the charts, and there would be no GOAT debate left at all.
Yep he really did run it into the ground drinking and driving. Still never understand how many people think they can js get away with duis honestly one of the dumbest things I can think of especially celebrities that could literally just hire a personal limo driver if they wanted too
If Tiger Woods didn't have so many injuries his achievements could have been higher but was still a prodigy of a golfer in a young age that I don't think a lot of newer generations will reach.
@@ColeAdams Thanks man! Feel free to use any of my tracks in future videos. Let me know too if you'd like a custom intro song made or anything, I'd love to help out!
"One of the most famous golfers ever"...no its not debatable he is the most famous and its not even close The goat has a debate to be had, but theres no debate about whos the most famous People who have never watched or seen golf in their entire lives still know who tiger woods is...
People forget that when he first started people were saying that he used his muscles too much in his swing and that his swing would eventually lead to back and knee problems...... Well looks like they were right
