Flyfishing for Seatrout in Funen

In April 2024 we went on an seatrout adventure to Denmark Funen.
It was a first to go fishing on seatrout for me.
In this short video you will see / feel our experience on Funen.
I traveled with my 4 fishingbuddys to Funen to go on this adventure.
It is a tough , you needed to go on and keep goiing.
Sometimes you think what am i doiing here after how many casts, i don't know.
But the reward is then so ever greater when you catch that dotted bar of silver.

I used a #7 medium fastaction flyrod.
Floating shoutinghead ( SA volantis).
An normal Floating flyline does the job as well.
Fly's :
Magnus or an Fred patern, not to small ( hook 6 or 4 )
Visimitation fly's
Woolly buggers orange burnt color types.
The fly's i used will come up soon on the canal.
Finding the fish is the difficult part.
We enjoyed us and learned a lot how to fish seatrout and that is still the most important part of the adventure! And we have still a lot to learn!
