Love the riser, looks marvelous! The metal vase is a winner too, that green color is gorgeous! This is my first time watching you but I really am enjoying it! I have subscribed! Rolling pin is so pretty. My mom had one like that with the green handles! You did excellent on distressing yours because it ilooked just like mom’s. She made pies almost every Saturday morning. They were usually chocolate, butterscotch and coconut! They were delish! I’m 73 now, but she lived to be 93.
Thank you so much Brenda for your lovely comment and for subscribing! Welcome to my channel! I love that my rolling pin gave you beautiful memories of your Mom making pies on Saturday mornings! They sound delicious! My Mom made homemade pies as well and my favourite pies that she made were cherry, lemon meringue and partridgeberry! Such wonderful memories of your Mom and how wonderful that she lived until 93 but having our parents around can never be long enough right? I'm happy to have you here and thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖
Thank you so much Rhonda! Welcome! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed my projects. It was my first rolling pin upcycle and I can see now why people like to upcycle them. I have a couple more in my stash to upcycle so stay tuned to see what I do with those. Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖
Thank you so much Barbara! I am loving the green too and I am seeing it a lot in the home decor out in stores right now. I just created a blue colour and upcycled a cutlery box that will be in next weeks video and it turned out gorgeous! I also used the script stamp on it. Check back for the upcoming video or click your notification bell to be notified when I post a new video and let me know what you think of it. Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖
Thank you Dawn! It was my first time doing a rolling pin and I'm hooked! I have a couple more in my stash and will be on the look out for some more at the thrift stores. 💖
I’m a 74 year old widow and love the green filagree container. Am in middle or remodeling my 200 yr old rock home and will definitely add the idea to my crafts I’m doing for finished project. Thank you so much for inspiration.🤗💕
Thank you so much Vicki for your lovely comment. Welcome to my channel! I love how the filagree container turned out to and I'm happy to hear it gave you inspiration for your crafts. Wow...200 year old rock home! I bet it's beautiful! That is going to be a fun remodel! Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. I hope to see you back again. Have a wonderful day, Vicki! 💖
Thank you so much Jody! I am loving the green. Now, if I had only written down how much of each colour I used to create this beautiful homemade green chalk paint. I will have to go back and watch my own video to see what colours I used. lol Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖
Love all 3 projects! Thank you for not doing white or off white lol! Color is gorgeous 😍 I have the same sticker and will definitely use it on something similar! Thanks for the inspo!
Thank you so much Angela! I love colour too. I think a lot of people are afraid to use colour in their homes but also choose white because it usually goes with other home decor more easily. I'm happy to hear my project gave you inspiration. Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖

Zita your riser, your vase and your rolling pin are gorgeous. You have such a beautiful touch. Thank you so much for joining us on the Trip. I can't wait to see what you make in May!
Thank you so much, Holly! I am loving the colour of the green chalk paint as well. I'm probably going to have to go back and watch my own video as well to see what colours I used because I didn't write down how much of each colour I used. Lol I definitely would like to duplicate this beautiful green. It looks very similar to the colour you used in your projects. I think we are both wanting Spring to come fast. Lol 💖
I came over to u from the Playlist and am now a new subscriber. I was amazed at how you transformed both the cutting board and the vase. They compliment each other and u did an amazing job, they're gorgeous. I'm still watching and am sure your last DIY will b just as beautiful. Thanksc4 sharing.

Thank you so much Susan for your comment and for subscribing! Welcome to my channel! I hope to see you again. Sending love back from British Columbia, Canada. 💖
Thank you so much Shirley! I'm hooked on the homemade green paint colour! lol If I had only measured out how much of each colour I used to make this green, that would've been a good idea. lol Hopefully I can duplicate it. Thank you for sharing some of your time with me. 💖
I like the rolling pin the best. I find by trial and Error. Lol that before I do any transfer or stencil, to top coat first with a non wax sealer. No wax because transfers don’t like to stick to wax. And with stencils, with a top coat. if you mess up you can wipe it away and or fix spots that may look to splotchy.
Thank you so much Joni! I know that they say you should apply a sealer before putting the transfers on but I rarely do and I haven't had a problem yet so maybe it's the chalk paint that helps. Yes, for sure wax would not be good to use before applying the transfers. Which sealer do you use? Great idea to use the sealer before the stencil for easier wipe away if there's a mess up. I'll have to try that. Welcome to my channel. I appreciate you sharing some of your time with me. 💖
