Yvonne, I so respect that you preserved the canisters in their original state AND YET up-styled them! You are so inventive, backing the decoupage paper onto copier paper and burning the edges. My word!
I remember doing decoupage back in the 1970's, which included burning the edges of documents & attaching to pieces of sanded, stained wood. 😊 Nice to see all of your nice projects, Yvonne!
Yvonne, what I love is that you know when to leave things natural and enhance them rather than change them completely. I find myself yelling "noooooooo" at some of these youtubers that have to paint EVERYTHING. Great job!
You are incredible! Always enjoy watching you, but when you started playing with fire, I got a little nervous! Just kidding! I knew you had control! These remakes are astounding! You do beautiful work!! 24:49
I saw someone spray the back of whatever she was going to decoupage with spray sealer, and she never has trouble with bubbles or wrinkles. You can't spray rice paper or napkins, though. They usually don't bubble or wrinkle.
Absolutely beautiful ideas. I love the combination of the decoupage paper with the transfers. I use the fire burning technique a lot but what I do is I create a ring around the item or design that I want to keep intact but I paint a ring around that design in mod podge and the mod podge will stop the burning so you don't have to keep wetting the paper. But beautiful job as always
Wow. Loved what you did on the buckets and tins!!! I just redid an old vintage railroad motor oil tin with labels of motor oil companies. Added rust patina and it looks amazing!!
Oh my goodness! I don't think I would have thought any one could make these very rusty crusty tins look so amazing, but you did! I have bought some pretty questionable rusty crusty pieces. You have inspired me to buy more! Ha ha ha! I absolutely love these!❤
I enjoyed watching this video so much and I loved the outcome of your projects. I'm trying to gain as much knowledge as I can to use these techniques in my projects, on a small scale just for myself and for the things I find thru thrifting. The IOD transfers are gorgeous and I can't wait till purchase some. You are so inspiring and your excitement is what spurs me on. Thank you 4 sharing this video.
Oh wow, Yvonne! That is so cool how you burned the edges, and also how you used copy paper on the backs! Those red tins came out amazing! And adding the transfers to the green tin looks so beautiful. And that bucket at the end....Yvonne, everything is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!!
You are so awesome I love your finished products I just started my own business and you are such an inspiration Your pieces are so finished Thank you for your videos ❤
Oh Yvonne …. You are brilliant! Your talent is endless. I love all of them! I’m bidding on those 2 green tins….trying to hold back my finger on the sugar bucket. I have 6 of them in my attic 🤦♀️. NOW I have new ideas for them! Love , love, love the Fusion Paint ( I’m a little sick of the Peony color right now, I’m using it for the Bridal Shower..it is beautiful though 💕) They have some beautiful colors ! Can’t wait for part 2 and 3 of this ! Well done ! ❤️❤️
I loved every transformation!!!! It is so hard to choose; but, I think my favorite was the wooden bucket!!😊❤. Thank you so much for sharing! Sincerely, Diane
Really liked the idea of burning the edge of the paper n adding the transfers brought it up to another level of character. Super cute! I also liked that brush you were using. It’s tapered n looked like you had more control with the wax. Also happy to see you kept everything original except the wooden surgery container. Love when you show different ideas. Kudos 👏! ♥️😊👍🌟🌟🌟
💫✨💖✨As always good idea. Loved how they all came together. I have seen others somewhere paint the back of the paper white. It did not hurt the print surprisingly. I wouldn’t change what you did though they are amazing 😊✨💫
You scared me with the burning at first! I was helping by blowing 😂 When I’ve done that, I’ve used a wet rag to just put it on to control…no bucket of water 😊 As always…everything is lovely!❤
You did it again!! The original colors are marvelous and to add those sweet embellishments for an update is brilliant Yvonne!!! I love it!! Burning the edges just makes it even more beautiful and, then the waxes?!!!! AMAZING!!❤❤❤❤❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I really love that sugar bucket. 🙂 It may just be me in a minority.. but I happen to like longer videos! I stay so interested in your vids the whole time that they seem to fly by and I'm sad they are over lol. But knowing there are more of the same on the way is good too! 😁
The burning idea is something I am definitely going to try I often print photos etc onto copy paper to use on projects and it looks better than trying to rip the edges all your projects turned out great x
Absolutely I love them. I have a collection of the old tins. I find a lot of them at auctions ❤. Yours are so beautiful. I will have to get some of that spray. I really never thought of that but wow it makes perfect sense to preserve them!!
Those old tins look so good, yes most people would have passed on them for sure, but now they look really good and that burn technique really turned out great!❤
That ice bucket is gorgeous!!!😍😍😍😍 I have some tins I just hated to throw away so I'm going to try this!🤩🤩🤩 And I have to line them with the paper!!! Right now before I forget, that's brilliant!!!
If anyone is interested in any of these.. they are up for auction on my eBay store. Link in my description. Hope you all enjoyed today’s video..
I really liked the Multi-media look. I have liquore bottles and I have been looking at them and thinking.... I think I have an idea

Nice to see all of your nice projects, Yvonne!
Thank you for sharing that.
I was just going to say that! What goes around comes around! The good ole 70s
No... You didn't scare me. By now I know you have a "method to the madness" of creating beautiful decor out of things others would cast off.👍
I think if you used a candle that was stationary you could work with both hands to control the flame and burning better.
Yvonne, what I love is that you know when to leave things natural and enhance them rather than change them completely. I find myself yelling "noooooooo" at some of these youtubers that have to paint EVERYTHING. Great job!
Thank you!
Yvonne, you add beauty to everything you touch 😊
All the containers turned out beautiful!!

Terrific job, yet again! Love to watch you create
Sugar bucket was the biggest makeover, I love it!
Absolutely beautiful ideas. I love the combination of the decoupage paper with the transfers. What a beautiful technique!! Can't wait to try it!!
Awesome 🔥
Small suggestion, when I burn paper edges, I use a candle, so I don’t have to hold the lighter. Cute ideas!❤
You inspired me to buy the black wax……🖤 I absolutely love it. Great flips….keep them coming.
Oh.. glad you love it too🤍
Love the combination of the decoupage and the transfers. They all came out great!

Yes.. I bet you won’t use that color for a long time after the wedding. But what a show stopper that wedding will be🤍
They look fantastic! A tip for the burning technique I learnt from another crafter is to use a candle for flame as it gives greater control.
All are wonderful; can’t pick a favorite 👏👏👏
Great items,I've used the burning techniques for several years, I love it also
Oh.. I’m new to it.
I loved every transformation!!!! It is so hard to choose; but, I think my favorite was the wooden bucket!!😊❤. Thank you so much for sharing! Sincerely, Diane
I love how you used the Millots Transfer. I’ve pulled it out 15xs and keep getting hung up! Love this!
Girl you “ROCKED” those old tin cans ! I will be on the look out for cans like that to try your technique. Thank you
I love it ALL!!!!!!!

Those were all beautiful. I love the way you use the black wax to age things. It's that extra little touch that makes your items so special.
You scared me with the burning at first! I was helping by blowing 😂 When I’ve done that, I’ve used a wet rag to just put it on to control…no bucket of water 😊 As always…everything is lovely!❤
Everything you did was great-love the last one 😊
Thanks so much 😊

They all look great. Love any metal items, and the added age makes them perfect. TFS
I've switched from a lighter to a candle for burning edges. My favorite transformation today is the sugar bucket. 😊
I thought the same thing and posted it in my comment before seeing yours. Sorry.
