Thank you very much This video, like the others, is very easy to understand and learn for a beginner. I like your method. I have been studying for half a year. I have a teacher, but I can supplement the exercises perfectly well with your videos. There is no contradiction in anything, it is in sync with my teacher. Thanks.
Great lesson. My blues lines tend to get boring and you've provided some great ideas to spice things up. I really like the walk up with the chromatics added.
That's a great workout. I wish you'd done some turn arounds at the end of each drill. But, I'm not complaining. This is like lifting weights...but for your fingers. Thanks.
This is the exact reason I love playing blues bass and I'm grateful for people like YOU! I didn't fare too well with the first couple patterns in the video, however I attained immediate success with the very last one because it just works for me. A blues tradition allows me to improvise slightly on the lines and me pay my respects to you half a world away when someone asks me, "Where did you learn that line?". I never forget my mentors who always have the time with their busy schedules to help us succeed.
Hi JAMES, I just watched a video on the five different steps. I started playing bass guitar 11 months ago. I was a drummer for 35 years and I played harmonica for five years and then 11 months ago. I decided to play bass guitar and I’m stuck on it great instrument I’ve watched a lot of your videos. They’re all awesome. I will definitely start to practice the beginning of thisquestion I have is can you do one on how to do crossroads cream that would be awesome let me know. Great work. Talk to you soon Joe Ferraro .

Really enjoy these exercises! Thank you!
Great drill. People get bored or they think they won't be taken as competent unless they flashing around. Basic solid playing never goes out of style.
Really digging this one, heard shades of “Dragging the line” in exercise #2.
today I, also learned that sadowsky makes fantastic basses!

Used to blues going to the 4 chord on bar 10 and back to 5 chord on bar 12.

What do you call this blues pattern? Skipping the 4 on the wayback, it's not a 12 bar blues is it?
fun stuff - at 75% playback speed 🎸
