What a fabulous location Steve one of my favourite areas to fish in fact I have been angling up there on and off for over 50 years and that Loomis rod looks the goods as well thanks for the vid .
I love the Loomis range however, I use a Sage 6 weight and a SP in 5 . I find the SP to soft and struggles in any decent breeze so will look into this Loomis. Where would you rate it in stiffness?
@@peter112999 The Asquith is definitely on the stiffer side of the scale, but not ridiculously so. Fast and deceptively powerful is how I'd describe it. If you get the chance, have a cast with one.
