@@Oliver_No.13 and a new tower doesn’t have to be the best or even good at all, for exa:ole bottom and middle path is still really good and the top path is decent considering the good Moab dmg but not that good for free play. Hoeever it’s still better value than for example plasma monkey club

It's because it's not trying to be realistic, he had like 20 barracudas thrown at once, but could not duplicate the great white etc.
To be fair it is better but because orca can't use the buffs it's worse it's the same as wats stronger max monke or normal super monkey
It's just the nonexistent synergy for the 3-0-0 + with buffs
Because most of the buffs go to waste
If they just made it benefit from attack speed, it would be really good
Maybe just Orca and Megalodon? Because I feel like making it affect the Great White would be a bit op for Chimps Mode
@@waterrr6332 you can just make the attack speed buffs less effective, instead of 2x speed only 1.25x??
@Usr999 i think ninja kiwi would only implement a mechanic like that in a way like:
t2= 120% attack speed
t3= 140%
T4= 170%
t5= 210%
or something bc if they just nerf a random thing about the t3, they'll never write it in the description
Sorta like cleansing foam slows down bloons(as in no one knows it but it's a mechanic they added a lot of patches ago & no one remembers)
Top path is so awful, but thats what happens when you nerf dps by 25x (it is technically a fix, but functionally they reduced the damage by 25x so the end result is the same)
It is technically a bug fix, not a nerf. It was never intended to do that much damage, how it currently is, is how Ninja Kiwi wanted it to be.

Man just exposed the real weakness of the top path nerf, tier 3 did nothing and tier 4 barely did anything aswell.
It was a bug fix
@@darthhydreigon820 a Nerf by definition is a reduction in the overall power of something. It doesn't matter if its a bugfix or not, its still a nerf. Just like how a Square by definition is still a rectangle.
@@darthhydreigon820 Nah it was a bug break. This tower was op once and now it's not even a shadow of its former self.
And at the same time the bugginess of the bug was exposed by the fact that if you had enough water, it was better to use T3 sharks than max power Megalodon
@@RancorSnp I am pretty sure that is how NinjaKiwi balances all towers. It is in many cases better to simply get a lot of weaker towers but the footprint makes that impossible in practice. A good example of this is banana farms, where the 1-0-0 is the most optimal farming option for rounds until pay-back.
the biggest problem is that tier 3 and above all sacrifice consistency for utility, the later tier's attacks should resemble the earlier tiers better (or vice versa) and they should just make attack speed buffs and alch buff work on it
Top path Beast Handler is the biggest fall from grace that any tower has ever had in BTD6. From completely busted, to pretty useless. It definitely needs a buff now.

Be careful that they don't nerf 2-0-0. Can't have it be stronger than 4-0-0. But yeah, this really needs a buff, cause right now it might as well not exist at all.

Ever since the "bug fix" that killed top path, simply getting a different beast and leaving it as a 2xx is just the right play. Not even buffing can save the 3xx and higher, the only "use" it has now is instakills which are better and more easily achieved in almost all cases by other towers. The exception is BADs, which you'd need a Navarch for otherwise, but Navarch gives a lot more back besides BAD instakilling for the higher cost (plus the BAD instakill doesn't just suddenly stop working in the 150s like 5xx, it keeps going forever.)
Ninjakiwi please buff these poor sharks...
I can instakill FBADs for about 600$. It's called Ezili. You better be able to do a lot for 150k+

Top path benefitting from basically no buffs, having a high cost, and being all but useless after round 150 when it's a late game tower is a real sad state. It also pulls in bloons that it can pull in that aren't BADs slower than the orca for some reason
Don't forget about being useless vs DDTs until 150 also.
6:42 when ninja kiwi made a maxed buffed tier 2 stronger than max buffed tier 3 and 4
from tier 2 to the tier 3 it completely changes mechanics on how it actually attacks, it's kinda silly of a path. all the other two paths stay consistent with the way they work and only get stronger.

The only thing top path is good for is instakills, and it takes too long for it to drag them back so it can't hadle groups aka most late game rounds anyways so it''s mechanically just not a very viable option as a solo tower, it absolutely has to have supporting dps and slows to help it out but it can still put in decent work by removing a lot of rbe
Plus, the thrashing damage in it's current state makes it commit suicide by leaving tons of children Bloons which it can't handle.
You're spending tons of Cash on a Tower that literally creates it's own weakness!
Look at how many Cerams were made in this video alone that other instakills wouldn't cause!

Yeah, top path is definitely getting a second look sometime soon. The bugged damage was extreme but the nerf completely kneecapped this tower.

I don't think Energizer can clip moabs. It only deals damage if the bloon's origin is in the range, afaik

Honestly for a tower that doesn't benefit from Attack Speed buffs, they shouldn't have reduced its damage so much...

For real tho, it’s way to expensive for the amount of popping power it provides. Pretty much any other tower is better in all situations
I genuinely don't think there is, except the fortified bad at 140 and nothing else really. But for that amount of money to handle a single round is absurd.

Since the higher tiers were so bad in comparison to the t2, how about a max buffed t2 spam with the same amount of power as the t5 could have

Megalodon is really strong but isn’t very synergetic with buffs
It isn't even good for much of anything, it's way too expensive. It's niche is specifically round 120-140, but any game mode where you go to those rounds there will be better options available. Maybe they can make the thrashing slow down the BAD it's targeting once the one shot stops working or something like that, because the tower is clearly intended for freeplay yet sucks in freeplay. Either that or a huge price buff.
it's actually pretty weak for such an expensive tower. They did too much with that bugfix and I'm sure they know that.

based on my experience, beasthandler is a lot better when paired up with spike factory and glue since it's not the best for cleanup
I really hope that top path gets a lot of changes (mainly buffs). The other 2 paths are great, but this one is just poorly done tbh.
Eh the other paths are ok, they honestly take too much money for the amount of popping power they give. It takes 78,380 to get the lowest power pouakai. That’s like the price of a pirate lord and flagship carrier almost. I would rather get two boats and a alch or village
@@HattereneMaster As solo towers, the other 2 pats are really strong. They can go really far on their own, and the bottom path has massive utility for the rest of the towers. Resetting resort infinitely is pretty strong to me, and it needs a lot to be overwhelmed, so only bloons can really do it.

I was curious because of how they attack. The earlier tiers were very powerful though.

They should just convert attack speed buff into a damage multiplier instead of it not doing anything at all
T1/2 for real looks like a whirlpool with a fish cannon rather than a tamed fish.
Isab just download the mod where you can completly individuelise the towers strengh to make not attack in the corner for future videos. Well at least I hope this is possible
Anybody else think he should redo these tests? top path beast didn't receive any bonus from speed buffs in 36.1. 1 year later the entire top path is actually pretty strong when buffed since thrashing finally inherits from overclock, jungle drums, etc...
Also, a recent change means that megalodon has a max drag time for non-BADS. Before it took Megalodon like 45 seconds to instakill round 200 ZOMGs, but now that has been capped so all of the potential damage isn't wasted. Godboosted Meg does over 200k+ damage per bite, almost exactly the same as it was pre-bug fix. I think this could absolutely push into the early 200s with ISAB's micro.

Honestly I'd be happy if they just buffed the top path so they can always pull down MOABs since by the time they would normally lose their ability to pull them down they were already incredibly slow...... but obviously only if they are fully merged.
I'm not going to be surprised if the next patch mass changes top path. The indirect nerf absolutely made it useless. Specifically the T5.

That fix was definitely necessary but it basically killed top path. It feels so underwhelming against the middle and bottom path. Imo if ur gonna use the Beast Handler, please use the middle or bottom path. The top path is either very situational or damn awful.
Only situation it's usable is when you want a cheap slow and below average cleanup for the end game in Chimps or if you're saving up for a very expensive tower using Moab Glue and another slow and you don't want to use Bloon Sabotage or Snowstorm to slow bloons

Megalodon really went from being an amazing tier 5 to possibly the worst one in the game.
I feel like he used the p-spike at the end just to plug code ISAB.
Challenge: BTD6 but you must buy the upgrade you want instantly. In other words, you can only upgrade a tower the instant you drop it, once you deselect it, you cannot upgrade it anymore. (I Posted this on a video you did a while ago and it got about 4000 likes, i think it would be interesting)

I feel like they need to give the Megalodon some damage back. Old Megalodon was broken as hell, but this version is just a super expensive anti-BAD tower. 147,850 to place that tower? Yeah, money well spent.

It's so expensive for such an inconsistent tower except for bottom path. Middle path is decent while the top path is just straight up awful, I feel like it already needs a mini rework.

This is beyond sad, I can’t wait for the next update where the beast handler can be reworked. Right now I do not want to use it. It’s way to expensive for the popping power i am getting from it. So many towers are just a better choice In pretty much every situation.
