Do you recommend shear over comb but not clipper ? Some salon charge clipper over comb lower price. My experience is the result are same. Depends which tools you comfortable with . I want to know what do you think about it .

You're using wrong size scissors to blend the sides into the top. The longer the blades of the scissors the more precise and quicker this process will be. Short blade scissors are designed for scissor on a finger technique.
