This may be an odd thing to ask out loud, but, how does a newbie heli pilot? Prepare to one day be able to fly in the F3C Competition if only for the experience of participation in this event and at the same time having a respectful flight? Just asking the question? I am nowhere close to being a competitor but interested in learning what it would take to one day compete or at least show a respectful participation.
There are many levels of the competition. You start out by participation in the Sportsman class. For most pilots the first competitions are really about getting help learning the maneuvers and helicopter setup. Some of the Sportsman class moves are perfect for new pilots learn. Even the hover moves sound easy but are difficult to master. If you can do a loop, a roll, and a hover then you can start working on the Sportsman class. But how do you compare the "stupid flying" to to one in the video? I'm just trying to understand more the f3c world and your comment is probably s good one to know about!
Never heard of F3C before they mentioned it on the RC Heli Nation podcast. Thought I'd check it out. Awesome and a bit less frantic than pure 3D.
Amazing pilot 👌 👏
Very cool.
The Best of the Best !!!!
This is awesome! What exactly is F3C?
RC helicopter precision aerobatics contests. F3C is the class name.
Nice flight. Which headspeed do you use for hoover and dynamic figures?

Flying 3D is so much better😂
That`s for me the right way to fly an helicopter within the F3C program - and not the stupid "flying" what`s so modern
Can you elaborate? I am just starting F3C
