RIBA + VitrA Talks: Winy Maas, MVRDV

The RIBA + VitrA Talks series brings together architects that are building structures rooted in place, shaped by their context and values of integrity.
As part of this series titled - Forms of Exchange: Exploring the spaces in-between, the London Festival of Architecture has partnered with RIBA to host a keynote lecture for 2023. This year's talk was given by internationally renowned architect, urbanist, landscape architect, and co-founder of the Dutch practice MVRDV, Winy Maas.
This is a recording of a live event that took place at 66 Portland Place, London on 22 June 2023.
In his lecture, Maas explores how architecture transcends physical forms and becomes a tool for creating new connections and interactions between people, delving into the ways in which design choices can shape our experiences of space and influence our behaviours, showing how thoughtful architecture can foster community, communication, and creativity.
