  • Is Unexplained Infertility REALLY Unexplained? | My Fertility Story
The REAL reason you’re being pushed to try IVF.
what if I told you everything could look different in just a few months from now…
You could have the ANSWERS you need. FINALLY understand your body. Be on the right path to pregnancy!
Just like the program member whose story I want to share with you on Fertility TV today.
She was told she had “unexplained infertility” 😣 to keep trying for another 12 months and go back for support then, if she still hadn’t gotten pregnant.
Fast-forward a year, and (unsurprisingly) nothing had improved due to the lack of support she received. At this point, she was immediately recommended for IVF.
Hmm…that’s just not how we do things.
I wanted to share this story with you today so you can understand WHAT to do if you’ve been told everything looks “normal” but you’re still NOT getting pregnant.
In this week’s new Fertility TV episode, we’re covering…
➡️WHY you’re being told to wait a year BEFORE you get help
    ➡️WHAT unexplained infertility actually means
➡️WHY you’re being pushed to take medication or IVF
    ➡️And so much more

This is so helpful. Thank you. My husband and I were trying in 2022. After a year of trying, we got pregnant in March 2023, but lost the pregnancy at 6 weeks. My family doctor told me that it's a good sign that we even got pregnant, so to keep trying for another 6 months. If nothing happens, she'll order test. After 6 months, I turned 35. I set an appointment, and started doing blood tests. It turns out my period, though it's regular, was irregular. For example, one cycle could be 28 days and the next will be like 35 days, and it just skips around. Did an ultrasound and scans showed several small polyps in the uterine wall. My blood tests shows low progesterone and low AMH. My family doctor advised me to seek out a OBGYN who specialized in fertility issues for further testing prior to going to fertility specialist (fertility clinics). So that's my next step, and got my appt. Crossing fingers my OBYGYN will be helpful. Too all the ladies going through unexplained fertility, I pray we'll find our answers. Continue being proactive in your health.

I am glad that you are seeking out the support you need. I hope that your OBGYN is helpful and doesn't just push you toward IVF.

Thank you, Dr! You are only who is so honest .
Mostly, people would come to me and say: don't worry, relax , you will get pregnant easily .
Well, after 2 years, nothing has happened yet😢
It's so frustrating to keep hearing those words relax, take it easy ...it will come eventually 😢

I hope you are getting the support you need to hold the pregnancy. Make sure your OB is proactive in their support. Miscarriage rates are higher in women with PCOS.

My first pregnancy happened after 13 years of trying. My second pregnancy happened 5 years after my first but ended in a miscarriage. Don’t know why I have a hard time getting pregnant. I developed a prolapse during the second pregnancy and I found out I have a amh of 0.6 and I’m only 34😢. Any tips?

My vitamin D was a 11 also but that is being corrected. After the second pregnancy I was given letrozole for 3 months but nothing.
