  • In this video other ligaments will be checked. The dorsal calcaneocuboid, bifurcate and talonavicular ligaments. And finally other possible injuries included en de differential diagnosis of a lateral ankle sprain like hidden fractures or peroneal tendons injuries.

    Great video - could you please clarify which muscle you referred to when talking about the Dorsal Calcaneocuboid ligament - I am assuming it is the Extensor Digitorum brevis is but didn’t recognise the name you used.

      Hi. It's the pedius muscle . Formed of the extensor digitorum brevis and the extensor hallucis brevis.

    I have pain in this particular area and it’s been several years now. I’ve gotten 4 different MRIs and the doctors said I just need to rest. Is it possible to recover from this situation without needing surgery?
