- yall suggested it, I did it. hopefully got some good content coming up as it's now the weekend.

1. the battery that's on the ground that's not got anything to do with blisk or ash dying is from the titan you're forced to fight at the start of the game, so I avoided picking it up
2. difficulty was regular
3. you can get the mod to do this at titanfallmods....

To be fair Lastimosa got attacked from behind when he wasn’t expecting it while in this video you took them all on while they were right in front of you
And he got batteries. Lastimosa couldn't get batteries because it was a cinematic.
And our rear armor is just as good as the front, but in this cutscene, apparently its hot garbage.
@@CMDRFandragon Which lines up with how tanks focus their armor in the front, because to add good armor all around would be too heavy, and the front takes most of the shots anyways if you know where the enemy is firing from
Of course the energy shields should be equal in all directions... Ash ripped out BT's batteries with her Titan's hand which turned the energy shield off. I'm guessing the hand was supposed to have been going slow enough to not register as a punch and didn't get blocked, so it snuck in
@@AnoAssassin Honestly, looking at these Titans when waiting for matches, its a wonder these Titans dont fold like playing cards as soon as you look at em. They have exposed wires and fuel lines and things that look....well, important....couple of 40mm Tone shots to the things seems like they would send shrapnel into vital areas and the Titan would be done.

actualy the only reason lastimosa lost is because ash ripped out BTs batteries
@@dr.cheeze5382 It was probably more to do with Lastimosa committing to the fight instead of kiting.
He kinda just full sent it into the middle of all of them, possibly to protect cooper, but either way that's a bad call against multiple targets

Pretty much as soon as that calls made, he shouldn't really be getting in the face of any of them when he doesn't know where the rest are.
Again, I'm fairly sure he's attempting to protect Cooper, I'm just saying it was a bit of a blunder on his part

T reason last lost was because the ash behind him tore out a battery so it wasn't last fault, it was just a weakness of the vanguard chassis

Imagine being a elite group of titan pilots and you ambush some random rifleman piloting a damaged titan and you all lose.
Tbh it was the most powerful titan created that era, second only to viper's modified northstar.

monarch is the second strongest titan ever. monarch and vanuard bt could probably take on most gundams and mobile suits

@@nyc.shyeee I think he had his batteries ripped out, therefore he could not move, but with cooper his batteries weren't torn out, so he had the power to move, if they had gotten his batteries he would have been useless for cooper aswel.
This is fantastic but for anyone wanting a lore explanation as to why lastimosa lost so quickly was due to ash ripping out multiple batteries at once casing major power failure and damage to bt. Hence cutscene magic :)

This fight is quite the unfair one. First off let’s talk about the ai of the apex predators. Respawn has said themselves that the only apex predator in game with their own ai is viper. All the other apex predators are simply the ai for their Titan type made more aggressive. This is part of the reason viper is the favorite apex predator for many pilots. His ai allows him to do cooler things then just spamming laser core every two seconds or running straight at the player face tanking bullets. If all the apex predators were given their own ai it is very likely this fight would be impossible to win. As blisk would taking all your attention while dealing out a steady supply of damage, ash would constantly be harassing you and giving you too much damage if you ignore her, and if you even dare to get close that’s a laser core tripwire for ya. Lastimosa put up a good fight but in my humble opinion even if he did kit like you there’s no way he could’ve won this fight.
Honestly, i think a Lastimosa could still win. Using cover and funneling them to fight one at a time could work. But thats not how the fight turned out. The story shows an ambush leveling the playing field offering an equal fight, while this is more a fair fight.
So i kinda agree, twas rigged from the start so to speak.

also he didn’t get batteries after each kill like this attempt, if battery drops were disabled he would have died after scoring 1 kill like lastimosa did

Fun fact: Cooper's combat effectiveness rating was higher with BT than Lastimosa's was. Cooper's was 98%. Lastimosa's was only about 85%.

master doesn't actually change the difficulty of titan fights that much if at all, i had as much an issue as a new console player beating the bosses on easy than on master

He was killed because he didn’t see the ronin coming, he was caught by surprise while preparing to close the distance to the legion. If he would’ve had more situational awareness, and wasn’t suffering from the incurable disease of plot progression syndrome, a disease that has claimed many good characters, he definitely could’ve won.

@@shadow50011 paint job matches up, and i would imagine the Apex Predators are wealthy enough from their high price tag to get upgrades, hell Slone has phase shift and Viper has powerful enough thrusters to keep up with capital ships, who says they didn't upgrade the armour and shields on their titans?

Ash hung back to attack Lastimossa from behind, though, whereas you started with all three in your field of view which let you control the fight better. Also they were more aggressive in the cutscene. Lastimossa coulda won, he just got hoed.
All though he didn't help take down BT and Lastimosa, Richter was also there. Which means as the fight went on, a tone would have also approached. (We know he was there from the whole "make not clean up"line.)
Viper was most likely close by too

Lastimosa had just experienced the same crash you did at the start of the game, and was also trying to protect you and the other grunts with no support.
This is the power you gain after facing 5 vipers. Lastimosa simply didn't face five vipers

@@ll_SLOTH_ll in fairness, he got sneak attacked by Ash. And letting a legion unload on you from behind is a bad idea. This fight had them all start in front of him, grouped up, not in flanking positions. Plus the cutscene insta kill mechanic wasn't in play.

It's like they punch you and suddenly you're on a fuckin ice rink. I was playing Attrition the other day and having a one on one titan battle with some other dude. I'm right next to a cliff and he manages to fuckin punch me off the map lmao. I ejected and survived, it was one of my favorite moments in a match so far. But those titan punches are ruthless.
I’ve experienced it a lot. I punch one guy in a club and suddenly he turns around and puts me on the floor. Tots unfair 🤪
I think enemy Titans have twice the melee damage. Sometimes they can kill you when you are freshly doomed.

There are several hypothesis:
1. BT was running low on power, meaning some functions did not work (unlikely as he was deployed fairly recently)
2. He was gotten by surprise and was surrounded near a cliff and a wall.
3. He might have taken a few shots before he is shown to the protagonist on the battle field.
4. Just human error, he might have under estimated the power of the enemy forces.
BT wasn't low on power in the beginning. When Ash Phase Shifts in and punches BT in the side, she rips out a few batteries.
Lastimosa could very well have won if he didn’t have his batteries ripped out. He domed Slone in 7 seconds.

It’s interesting that Blisk’s character model is fully textured here, as opposed to devtextures everywhere else. Is this because of the level, or is there another reason?
I suspect the game only loads textures it needs to, since the bosses actually appear in these levels they're fully modeled

I think you forgot Saint-14 - Destiny. He's like doomslayer but Russian. Both use shotguns, both have overwhelming brute force, and both kicked their enemy's ass so hard they are viewed as demons.
Well the doom slayer went through hell for centuires, slaughtering hordes of demons to the point an entire realm trembled at the mere mention of his name. To each their own I suppose

If there a actual minimap in the hud of lastimosas titan, he could have dashed away and dodged ashes sword attack and also deploy electric smoke to deal some damage to them and then be more likely to take them all out ( Ash, Blisk, and Sloane)
