Great review dude! "That can definitely kill you," Hilarious! I might buy one for its RCA outs, but the Dayton and the Acoustic Audio seem decent, albeit no RCA outs. Thanks for posting!
@@mikelachendro488 i meant the bigger subs in the corner lol but still good video. it would be cool to see if u do order 2 more how the 4 would be together. also have u guys ever tried buying a plate amp off amazon or parts express? i always wanted to see if they were any good.
2 amps x 120 volts = 240 watts 80% efficiency = 192 watts Not to mention it is a class d amp probably being run at 1 ohm which is how they get that much power out of such a small footprint
Rockville is king of over rating their amplifier power. I bought a pair of their rock shelf 6.5in bookshelf speakers and was very impressed but they were light so I had to weigh them down so they would stay in place but that was seriously my only complaint.
The standby “hum” went away by switching to a 10AWG power cable (nice they made that an option). Link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L2MBYWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also much improved overall performance, tighter with less distortion. Never underestimate the power source. That being said it did raise the price a tad. Ha
I've always felt that Rockville makes great PA gear and very "meh" home theater/studio gear, LOL. Most of the time, the only difference is venue and expectations. ♥
IF THIS 8 INCH SUB CAN ACTUALLY GRAZE AROUND THE 20 HZ LEVEL FOR $85 THEN REALLY THAT IS QUITE GOOD. YEAH NOT THE BEST COLOR, BUT AT LEAST THE BOX AND DRIVER ARE MATCHED PRETTY GOOD. PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST SUBS UNDER $100
Man ...‘I would love one Of these. You keep saying 85$ bucks like it’s nothing.... I have 3 kids, Work 2 jobs and could never find $85 extra bucks. See what you can do for me please?

Great review! I love the budget gear section! You guys do great breakdowns. Thank you!
Thank you! We enjoy a good budget product 😁
Love what you do....please don't stop. Recommended adding sounds to funny stuff
"Power cable, that's nice for them to include..." Sense of humor 😂👍
if u turn the subs in the corner facing the wall bass response will improve drastically
but great video as always. for $85 much cheaper alternative to some logitech subs

I'm gonna use this to engineer music, what is the flat volume on this thing? Far as the volume control knob?
You didnt even try it? As smart as you are son. I wanted to hear your opinion on it after you tried it out

You think you could throw in a skar audio 8" sub?
Cool video
Can you do the 12 inch version ?
Great review. Thx much!
Hey, I'm looking for something like that, to use it with the RCA cables and turn my front channels into full range, do you think this will do?
Not really subsonic frequencies, just as a bass module
I'm gonna sub and keep an eye on you my dudes.
would have liked to have heard it without the poly-fill. that's suppose to simulate a bigger box which i can't see this woofer requiring.
broooo i’ve been waiting forever for a vid and i’m just begging if you can make a sound test for a longer amount of time
We try, but copyright strikes are annoying and alot of NCS content is pure ear bleed.
What's the name of the instrumental playing in the background?
Maybe $85 but definitely not $120 how would that increase be justified?
Do the RCAs crossover?
Yep
What is the song called
1% THD and 200W RMS ...but on separate line entries....hmmmm
What a hating Jack, "actually" (in the beginning)
Haha, yeah Rockville is cringey but for once this sub wasnt a total let down, well worth 85 dollars.

Cheap looking sub👀
Pretty snobby. Get this for your 12yr old. Perfect deal for a garage system too
is this bluetooth
4 of em? you'd be better off buying 1 svs sub.
or two polk 10s
@@coolelectronics1759they sleep on that polk 10 but research shows it's better then 700 dollar subs
1% thd is trash too
You sir have wasted 85 bucks on scamville products, get your money back.
paper/foam doesn't mean quality
'wood'🙄
