Hey S.U. Love the videos but please make a duel video with Yugi spellcaster deck fixed up. Like with the knights and the magnet warriors and the magician cards. I don't like seeing Blue Eyes deck winning so many times. It really hurts with me being a Yugi fan.
Future reference: You cannot use Dark Magic Curtain the turn you've summoned another monster.
I was wondering if anyone else caught that.
also when you use legend of heart you have to tribute a warrior monster as well as 2000 life points and then you remove a legendary dragon spell before you play a legendary knight
Brian Doyle: the only mistake was not tributing a warrior. He banished The Claw of Heremos (I think it was. It could've been the Fang if Critias) and summoned Legendary Dragon Timaeus from his deck. All of that is mega besides not tribute for Big Shield Gardna.
Shadow Spector There were many other mistakes than that. But as SimplyUnlucky said, we're to expect a few mistakes.

You could have negated the storming mirror force by banishing magicians navigation from your graveyard

32:26 for future reference (i didn't look through comments to see if someone already brought it up) Core works exactly like Cyber Dragon to where you're opponent must have monsters while you control none so core wouldn't be able to summon a 2nd Cyber Dragon there. It's a good card but it's not THAT good ;) hopefully it doesn't happen again in the next...LEGENDARY.... Dragon Duels. And honestly if that didn't happen the duel could have turned out drastically different, maybe with some more hype Dark Magician THE DRAGON KNIGHT.

Roman, normally with Magician’s Rod you’d be searching out Eternal Soul because of how well it combos with Dark Magical Circle.
My inner Cyber Dragon player is cringing hard right now.
When he banished Core even though he couldn't.
He also could have overloaded into rampage to destroy eternal soul and thus the rest of his monsters

You guys got Chimera Overadragon's effect right to a point. It can attack a monster/ monsters the amount of times by how many fusion materials used.
If anything, I say that Eternal Soul with the dragon monster out because the dragon monster counts as a dark magician while on the field or graveyard, it wouldn't be affected by monsters ever
Meaning earlier the mirror force couldn't touch it if that was active

When you summond dark magician the dragon knight you didn't use dark magicial to banish one of simply Alex cards
when you first flipped eternal soul you could have used it to special summon a dark magician from your grave and had all 3 out at once.

Another reference is that "Future Fusion" actually send the materials for the chosen Fusion to the GY, so that Infinity is wrong too. Awesome duel btw. Love SU. KAIBAA
The sleeping on Eternal Souls other effects and not realizing eternal soul and dark magic circle make the best combo in that deck for spell and traps

@12:45 why didn't he activate Magician's Navigation to negate the other guy's Storming Mirror Force? Is that a misplay?
Also he had an Eternal Soul facedown and he didn't activate it. Was he going easy on the other guy or something?

My friend was using Zombie Hord against my Cyber Dragon Revolution deck and I was super close to losing and I just though Heart of The Cards and managed to draw a card that let me survive his turn and win
I was going up against my friend who had a Dragon Master Knight with 7000 ATK and all I had left was a Red Eyes. I jokingly said "the heart of the cards never fails" and drew Inferno Fire Blast. He only had 1000 LP left. Thought I'd tell the story because they're similar and it kind of made me laugh
also i love how SU knew about that CD - Nova detail that even some pros don't understand, yet he missplayed horribly - as in using it wrong - DarkMagicCourtain lol. Alex gets second with Core efefct in grave WHILE he had a CD in field which leaded to making INFINITY.
Game 3 was an anime duel! 10/10 for a 20 mins round
That dark magic circle animation is very sphincteresque.
In the first game, you couldn't have used Dark Magic Curtain if you have summoned another monster that turn. It really didn't matter because Eternal Soul could have gotten out another DM to finish the job. In the third game, Cyber Dragon Core was banished from the grave while he controlled a monster which has had to control no monsters to activate the card. This got him Cyber Dragon Infinity which determined the outcome of the duel. Also, SU forgot to tribute Big Shield Gardna for Legend of Heart, which he later tributes for DMG.
You should've used the Dark Magical Circle effect with the Dark Magician the Dragon Knight because he counts as a Dark Magician when it is on the field !!! And you should've banished Magicians Navigation to counter that Mirror Force !!! And you should've use the Eternal Soul with the Dark Magician on your Graveyard.

you should of used eternal soul 2nd affect with getting thousand knives and destroy the fusion monster
Chimeratech dragon can attack as many time on the monster you send to the graveyard so for example you send 5 fusion material it can attack 5 times per turn
you could've activated magician's navigation in your gy
I'm pretty sure it can negate a spell/trap for a turn by banishing it

I just realize something norman uses dark magic curtain and he uses the effect of dark magic curtain to bring dark magician to the deck and special summon him to the field also you need to pay halve of your life points wish he didnt 15:00
At 13:10 he couldve activated magician navigations effect which negates 1 effect for a full turn
I find it weared that for the Atlantis deck, you get all the cards except Timaeus The Knight of Destiny.
So I just bought the Legendary Dragon Decks box as my re-introduction into YuGiOh after over a decade. Randomly bought it to be honest, didn't even know if it was gonna be any good. figured for the price ($30) it probably wasn't gonna be great. I also got a Dragons Collide structure deck. Then I come across your unboxing vid of the LDD box, and now this duel. Gotta say, seeing the editing you did, insta-subscribe!
You know what’s funny, back when dragon of legend was first released I tried to make a dragon of Atlantic deck then Konami made a deck years later that leagues better. I would if simple unlucky could make my version to see if it could hold its own against the new one.
The first duel dark magic curtain was used wrong. You summoned magical exemplar therefore you cannot use dark curtain due to the curtain not allowing you to summon another monster the turn you use it.
Just so you know, Alex can't special summon cyber dragon with core's effect while he has a monster on the field like he did at 32:30. That effect of core can only be activated while his opponent controls a monster and he controls none.
also you had to tribute your big shield guardna to activate legend of heart
Cores effect in the graveyard says if only ur opponent controls a monster you can banish it to summon a cyber dragon from deck....Alex used its effect wrong
Im happy that you guys are dueling with these two decks because I just got back into yugioh and I bought the box set and this really helped me on understanding on these cards.

There are 2 mistakes. When you summon the magician of dragon knight you can banish a card when circle is on the field. The name of the fusion when is on the field or gy is Dark magician. I have Dark magician deck!
18:30 banish core search cyber dragon, activate overload fusion for rampage dragon pop both face up spell and trap. activate rampage eff sent two light machines in the grave att. main phase 2 xyz summon nova active nova special cyber dragon than overlay nova into infinity.
so the dragons of atlantis spell cards do count as dragon type monsters and polymerization for dark magician fusion cards?

Game 3, Alex you can only bannish core to special cyber dragon if only Roman has monsters and you dont. So you can not special both Cyber Dragons the way you did fyi..

That dark magic curtain effect was not possible because you cannot summon monsters the turn you activate that effect...

You forgot to use Dark Magic Circle when you Summoned DMTDK, his name becomes DM.
The moment you summoned Dark Magician the Dragon Knight you could have used Circle's effect since it counts as Dark Magician, so you could have had the chance to banish the mirror force
Not sure if this was said before, but Core can only get out a Cyber Dragon when you control no Monsters. Also, detaching an Xyz material is a cost, so it has precedence over the effect.
You could have used overload fusion to get chimeratech rampage dragon and used it's effect to destroy eternal soul to get rid of his magicians then have 3 attacks per turn
Awesome video guys. I feel like if you guys practice duel a bit more and prepare before recording, the duels will be much more smoother and have less errors. Love the videos none the less.

I guess having the legendary dragon of Atlantis would be too over powered for the Pendulum cards I bought this and it can go one sided but loved this duel

No. 1 problem in YuGiOh duels, when you're dueling someone and don't know the effects of the of the card, and the player who uses it explains the effects, and you still don't know what's going on, so you try to re-read the card, and then allow, then after you can't believe what's happening, so you try to re-read the card again to make yourself convince that "THAT JUST HAPPENED".
