I can’t say it enough, “ I love the friendship between you and Al”. I’m so glad he is feeling so much better these days. Great episode again Diego.. & before I forget I’m a fan of The Lovely Ms J”
You were very good to Al when he was sick. Its nice to see him better and helping you a bit now. What a nice friendship. Being kind to each other. May God bless you.
Neighbor Al reminds me of my grandpa, he was as active and as lovely a person until his very last moment. I miss him a lot. Sending Neighbor Al - and you - the best thoughts and a virtual hug. .
Hey Diego i know hes known as Neighbor Al but i think we are all thinking of him as our Grandpa Al. Love the relationship you guys have and thank you for sharing it all with us
It’s great to see how you and Al are such a blessing to each other. I’m 61 and wish I moved as good now as Al at his age. Great video can’t wait for the next one!!
Glad to hear Julia is reminding you to rest and recover. This project is such a tremendous amount of physical wear and tear! Take care of yourself!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi Diego, Love your content! You seem to have such wonderful morals, values and work ethics. This is so refreshing and encouraging to see these days! Best wishes to you and the lovely Ms Julia.
Is great to see Mr. Al so much better. And with his experience you’re going to have an awesome finished in your project. Thank you again for your videos.😊
Good morning Diago. I’ve been watching every Sunday morning. I’m glad Al is doing better. I’m also enjoying your videos. Your cabin will all be brand new by the time you are finished fixing and remodeling everything. Keep up the great work. You’ll stay young all your life.
He is such an amazing man and he’s teaching it all to you! You two are special together. Your life has improved so much with him in it. He’s like the grampa that teaches you all the old knowledge. It’s incredible to watch you work together.
Great job. Glad AL is feeling better. So nice that he has a young friend that he can help and that comes to help him as well. As a senior I know how important that is.
I can’t even describe how much I enjoy watching you and Al work together on different projects. The chainsaw mill is really an interesting process also
Great looking beams. Once you're done that home could have an elephant on it. I like how you are willing to try anything. Lots of hard work. You're kindness to Al is commendable taking a lot of time out of your day to help him. It's going to really tough for him when he can't physically do what he's used to doing. When I retire I'm moving to TN hope you can help me with tips on the chainsaw mill.
Hi from Alabama. Love the view of the stream. I could sit there in the forest and listen to it all day. So beautiful in the forest. Glad to see your friend doing so well. Hi to the lovely Julia.
Great work Diego!! Think about staining or even just charing the wood to protect it from rot! You’ll want to do it before you install it, so you can get the tops/bottoms of the beams and support posts.
Great Footage Diego!! 😊 I watched a loot of your videos in the last couple of days and i realy like your livestyle in the woods. Kinda jealous 😅 Regards from south Germany 😊
Awesome work Diego. Allways nice to see both you and Al helping each other. Have you thought about buying a Logosol F2 chainsaw mill? Alaskan mill is okei for bush cutting, but the Logosol f2 would make the cutting for you alot faster as you dont need to set-up any rails etc. I bought one this year and cant wait for spring to use it.
Oh regarding the rock on road to Al's spring, you ought to rent a skid steer with a jackhammer attachment and widen that area before something bad happens.
Very nice job on the beams ! I wanted to ask , what did you say Al's hearing and balance problems were called, as I have had that problem also ? Thanks 😊
Maybe 4’ or 6 ‘ 4x4 or 6x6 and cut groove in the centre so log rolls to it and stays there and maybe 45* cut at the ends so log will roll up easier . You can use these forever for you milling logs and it will make your job easier !
Cribbing. Instead of building some lower saw horses, crib your beams to a comfortable cutting height. 4x4's or 2x4's incredibly stable and who cares if you actually cut into the cribbing a bit. Was also thinking upside down 5 gallon buckets. Really strong but require a mess of jockeying while your cutting. Question. Will these beams crack while waiting to be installed? Painting the ends to control drying? Will you be treating these beams? Thanks for your time. Love the videos.
i know al has problems with those two rocks. maybe a good idea for a project would be to cut a cross hatch pattern into them with a diamond ceramic grinder that way they cant get slippery with ice and mud
Hi, fantastically nice wooden materials you make from these wind traps, very exciting and follow you here. What kind of wood are you using here? Greetings Den7vendefarivedhaugen, in Halden Norway.
Diego, Modern Diesel engines are not happy started that long before ride (to low temperature inside and water starting to codensate) Ride away in 30 seconds after start. Have a nice day
I'd like to know how old these videos are like a week 3 weeks a month I'd just like to know if I'm watching something that you did last week or something that you did months ago
OMG Diego, If you don't keep those saw chains sharp, I'm gonna have to unsub. You're working twice as hard at it as you need to. The guide on your Beam Machine can actually rest under the saw powerhead. The main clearance focus is at the bar pivot point. Set it where the saw is best balanced. As you experienced, the longer the guide board (2x4), the better.
I can’t say it enough, “ I love the friendship between you and Al”. I’m so glad he is feeling so much better these days. Great episode again Diego.. & before I forget I’m a fan of The Lovely Ms J”

I love seeing Al up and about he's feeling like his old self again that makes me happy❤❤

I can't say how glad I am that you are taking a break with the lovely Julia.... all work and not rest make Diego a dull man...
Glad to hear Julia is reminding you to rest and recover. This project is such a tremendous amount of physical wear and tear! Take care of yourself!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your friendship and the generosity between you two is heartwarming. His knowledge of his woods and his pioneer spirit is amazing to witness.
What a lot of work...... the satisfaction of you having prime timber that you did yourself 😊
Glad the lovely Julia took you for some R&R.
Hi Diego, Love your content! You seem to have such wonderful morals, values and work ethics. This is so refreshing and encouraging to see these days! Best wishes to you and the lovely Ms Julia.
I don't comment much, but I watch much. Very happy to see Al's health is better. AL'S FAN HERE!! Happy Sunday y'all. 💖👍
I see more than just tree rings ❤ not trying to pry into your private life, just happy for you guys 😊
Been wanting to comment how impressed I am with your Frontier people rarely think of that truck as being a Workhorse
You and Al!! I love how you 2 work together! Taking an old log and making beautiful milled post!
Is great to see Mr. Al so much better. And with his experience you’re going to have an awesome finished in your project. Thank you again for your videos.😊
Somebody needs to dig out that mud hole for Al and install a spring box.
Are you volunteering?? 😗
I love your videos and your willingness to help people out
Outstanding. Great work, Diego. It is fascinating watching you do all this work on your cabin. Thanks for sharing.

Wow so amazing ! Also nice to see Al doing better !
Well now I understand why you were so so elaborate in building the woodshed. Lots of lessons learned, techniques practiced.
Keep at it Diego , great to see Al has his balance back

Nice job cutting the beams. Good video.
I'm just imagining the fiddlehead foraging y'all can do in those woods this spring.

Hey Diego I love your content soo much it's the best man I think you should make one video every
A little trick that a old man once told me is you can put your bar oil in like a big dish soap bottle then you can save a little oil is good
Excelente trabajo
Thanks for the video. ^^ Always fun watching your videos. 😁
Just found out that I was a fan of your channel. Keep up the good work
Great vid 👍 💪

Tip… file the screw head down on two sides a little and use the cordless driver to unscrew it. Works for me

Diego, vivis en el paraiso
Glad to see Al out and about but I’m still worried about him. I know you’re keeping an eye on him…….❤❤❤❤
Hello my friend. What is your opinion about Husqvarna chainsaws ???
Oh regarding the rock on road to Al's spring, you ought to rent a skid steer with a jackhammer attachment and widen that area before something bad happens.
Very nice job on the beams ! I wanted to ask , what did you say
Al's hearing and balance problems were called, as I have had that problem also ? Thanks 😊

Thanks for your time. Love the videos.
You do plan on putting oil base primer and finish coat on them
Diego, are you going to put a preservative on the beams before you install them?
If your screw gun bit gets worn. Trash it. Don’t put it in the tool box for later. Trash it. 😅Beautiful Timbers.
😎👍
With as much firewood you chop up and use on a yearly basis, would it be easier to purchase a wood splitter, new or used?
Weren't you tempted to mill up the giant doug fir at the roadside? Maybe you need a copy of Matthew Cremona's log trailer :)
My granddad called the small sticks, biscuit wood.😂
i know al has problems with those two rocks. maybe a good idea for a project would be to cut a cross hatch pattern into them with a diamond ceramic grinder that way they cant get slippery with ice and mud
😊
What size is your chain saw and bar length
Curious Diego..... how much did all this effort save you in the end?
Hi, fantastically nice wooden materials you make from these wind traps, very exciting and follow you here. What kind of wood are you using here? Greetings Den7vendefarivedhaugen, in Halden Norway.
100 k subscribers soon Diego. Keep on trucking. Very good video.
Is this montana?
I expect there are many things in common between you... and everyone will benefit from the presence of the other... Why don't you live together!!??🥰🥰
Add a hand cable wench to your Alaskan Mill. It will increase your milling by 50%.
Look on RUclips for how to video's
What is Al's favorite brand of Chainsaw?
Balance problems? Tell Al to take Vitamin B12, in capsule form if possible.
Diego,

Remembering that those who consume nature must produce nature or they will become extinct.🤷🏻🇧🇷
He produced alot of saw dust for nature to use for now....eventually all that wood will return to nature, either decomposed or ash.
Doesn't anyone believe in GLOVES
