I used your video to help figure out why I couldn’t get my chainsaw going after I put in fresh fuel and chainsaw oil. I didn’t have to do any maintenance, but I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong when trying to start it. Thanks for this video!!
Got my daughters pp4218a here as we speak! It doesn't run bad but it's not right. Husky dealer and Stihl dealer don't get carb kits for them so no idea what to do. I think what I'll end up doing is giving her my ms250! I got it cheap 7 or 8 years ago as dude that had it was tired of dealing with the carb on it. He said he put a carb kit in and couple months later it started doing the bog bog thing again so I got it. I put a carb on it from HL supply and it's been good ever since for me and it has hi low adjust with no limiter! So anyway where do you get carb kits for the poulans? Thanks.
If all you did was change fuel lines then the carb should already be really close. Look somewhere else for your problem. Otherwise maybe a turn on the hi and a turn and a quarter on low should get it started.
Look at :45 and notice how loud it is when I just flip the saw over. This bench is actually a lift table with a single mounting point. It bounces a lot and the half inch thick plastic top makes a lot of noise. Just sayin.
I bet he would go over 10k subs if he showed the year and serial of equipment and gave replacement part numbers along with dropping the elevator music...
Showing the year and maybe more details like product number might benefit some people but I won't show serial numbers of customer equipment. Thanks for the suggestion.
@TheGreasyShopRag Good point- because you know that I am that guy thinking "oooh, that serial number makes this a pre-stratified charge Poulan, gotta get me some of that, I need to hack this guys YT channel in order to find his upload IP in order to access his NAS in order to grab his contact list in order to find out what customer's saw this is so I know who to steal this from- because you know I am just dying to steal a non-pro saw and take that jail risk..." Thank you for keeping your customer's equipment safe. As an auto mechanic, you know what bothers me about these YT small engine channels? None of them actually know the equiptment- they buy cheap universal gasket kits and cheap spools of knock off Tygon and just match up by eye until something fits. The cheaper the better- the customer will just bring it back sooner. Why worry about serial numbers and EPA revisions, just bang it out and get er done instead of upgrading to preferential quality parts...
@@shaun4bigblocks993 I agreed not to share customer info. Any Husqvarna dealer employee can take a serial number and see if the equipment was registered and have access to limited personal information. Its the same with some other brands.
@@TheGreasyShopRag I bought a Poulan Wood Shark when I was 17 years old in 2001. Biggest POS saw I've ever had. I currently have a Poulan S25DA, and 3700 CVA, both Crapsman badged. Both are excellent saws.

We use OEM Zama and Walbro kits. I'm sure we have many suppliers but thats not my department so can't help you with that one.
