He was a talented poet and musician. Charismatic and good at acting as well. Nobody ever doubted that. But the fact that a lot of people think that he was a brainless thug was his own undoing.

*Tupac* is most known for his gangster rap but if you notice there's NO curse words in this song the same is true for *(Keep Your Head Up) & (Dear Mama)*
Recently the woman who played Brenda came out and did an interview, the first ever. She's called Ethel Love and she was 17 at the time. The story is that Tupac was friends with her brother, they would hang out and make music together. During that time Tupac read about a prostitute found slain in the newspaper. His album was actually done by then but he put the release on hold to add the Brenda's got a baby song to it at the last minute. Ethel never auditioned for the role, Tupac picked her himself.
Tupac was very diverse with his music. Yes a lot of it is "gangster" rap. He also has these gems of heart touching reality raps. When Tupac passed away he had such a deep library of rap songs already recorded, that his mom started putting out albums to share the messages Tupac wanted to share. So much that people often questioned if he had actually died or if he faked his death to get away from Suge Knight his manager. Suge was making money hand over fist from Tupac, and Tupac had already satisfied his contract with Death Row Records and wanted to move on. Such a tragedy losing someone like Tupac. Thank you for reacting to such an amazing artist.
Its crazy how i remember in 1991'' When this song 1st came out on his 1st album alot of people did'nt know of 2 Pac, But when he died in 1996'' The whole world knew who he was. He touched some many people in a short period of time. Good Reaction.👍👍👍😎
I think the headline said that she was slain, not suicide. . You should play changes, Keep your head up, So many tears, unconditional love, who do you believe in?, Till the end of time, Ambitionz as a Ridah, ... That's a start, but Tupac has many great songs to choose from. I'm looking forward to your Tupac journey.
I hate when people only recommend "positive" Tupac songs. He was a complicated man and a complicated artist. Better to get a fuller picture. Listen to I Get Around, 2 of America's Most Wanted, How Do You Want It, Me Against the World, Hit Em Up.
@@havok6280 I agree that she should get the full picture of Tupac, but I think that she's not ready to listen to "Hit em up" until she knows the conscious, sensitive side of Pac. If she heard "Hit em up" first, she would not have played another Tupac song on her channel. There by never knowing the true genius and essence of Tupac
@@darrylmckinney9668 this is already her second Tupac reaction. Also note Hit Em Up was the last song I listed. And again, I'm noting all of your suggestions show just one side. I survived “ Kim” by Eminem so I guess I will get through this one too 😉. But I already had recorded the two that are up as for a minute . But I will put the “other” ones on the list too 😇
Tupac read and watched the news a lot….he saw this news story and wanted this to get out..he wanted the government to help pay more attention to the people..this song changed laws in America..it went to Washington and they made tougher laws for parents ..they made social workers start going to the houses of people more and if a kid didn’t show up for school the parent get arrested and so on…Brenda was 12 years old in this..she got pregnant by an older cousin , but her mom wasn’t there anymore and her dad was a heroine addict ..he didn’t care..the did throw the baby away but got the baby but her step mom told her to move..she tried everything to make it with her baby but got killed at 13…the baby is still living..this is a true story..it’s now in the hall of fame in America..the government now got lots of help for this stuff..and a lot of preventive measures as well
This song is very heavy and hard hitting but his song has made huge impact on youth people who need support for their society and I appreciate that you listen to him 💜
Imagine the activist work Tupac could be doing had he not been killed over a stupid fight that changed so many outcomes for so many people. (I believe Biggie was killed in retaliation for Tupac's murder which he had no part of). Tupac was shot before, robbed, done wrong and he was angry. He had to know he was "on deck" after the incident. Tupac could've been an effective politician as he aged. He was beginning a low cost chain of day care centers so parents can get an education or better employment. He was socially aware, intelligent, gifted, and generous. (Hit Em Up track is the exception, lol). He'd be 51 now. His mother lost her son at 25. It's a huge loss and tragic-Biggie also
I agree 👍 that Tupac was ahead of his time and rap about life in the ghetto(now most people call the hood). Only R & B Artist compare to Tupac is legendary Stevie Wonder back in the day.
Just a little history on this song. I believed he witnessed this while shooting the movie Juice. Omar Epps went in more details about it in an interview.
Hello Miss Mamma taunt, I love your Sweet reactions, and I grew up listening to 2pac mostly, I'm 44 now but this Man's music had an impact on me as an introvert. Slain is murdered, she didn’t jump out of a window. When sex is apart of a one’s job, a high level of ppl who don’t see you as a person or as disposable is a regular assurance. She had no other way and that happened.
There is one actor Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away two years ago was murdered check about him if you have time mam he was sweet humble nice person
The more you listen to 2pac the more you will understand how much different than what they showed you on the news
That is definitely true!! I think the best way for me to get his story is tru is music and listening to his loyal fans
