My brother, I've seen South Africans do this over and over again; they just pop out of nowhere and perfectly break out in song as if they have been practising. Its amazing

Thank you for confirming this. It's just an amazing fact

😂♥️ You are one of us & you know that we never rehearse a lot because music and harmony is embedded in our culture. We sing when we are sad; angry or happy.
Our ability to jump in on a song we’ve never sung before and just let our voices and rhythmic abilities take over. ❤

😂I'm South African and I still thinks it's crazy how we all can just sing.😂

Just a random class singing together in their spare time, we used to do that in school and it icked my principal to no end😂😂😂

Yeah our teachers used to hate it coz it would disturb other classes. But it was always great memorable moments. Sometimes you miss those days and the songs are almost forgotten and left in memories with almost no one to sing them with as there's always new songs every 2 days in this country and you're hardly ever in an environment where you can teach people again the songs you used to sing in your childhood😆🥲
But luckily the internet exists now and morden day amagwijo are getting archived on multiple platforms

@MfezekoMatshoba I understand perfect what you are saying. We had events in school those days that till today it's still the beauty of our memories... But when it has to do with music like you guys, I'm sure it's on another level. Love you guys

The lyrics on the video might be wrong. "Hamba wena, hamba" is an encouragement to push on, or press on. It's not an instruction to go away.

6:28 Hamba means go/leave. Wena just means "you". But it all depends on context. Hamba wena can be used to motivate you to keep going. Or it can be used to sort of mock you in your distractive path. Basically telling you to keep going (see what happens). And probably 1 or 2 more contexts that might not be in my mind at the moment.
