Hey, been a fan of your work for coming on 10 years now, don't think ive ever commented but I seriously just wanted to say thank you for putting me on so much amazing music throughout the years. A lot of the best defining great moments of my life. Chvrches reviews been some of my favorites. Much love
I'm of a similar mind; the highlights of this album are STRONG and I did have fun with it but as a whole, sequencing and light production quibbles prevent it from going beyond that (although I actually liked the transition from 'Oh, Mother' to 'Sorry Etc' due to how it made the latter track more punchy with the whiplash)
…somehow I didn't hear that this record was in the works, but now I'm curious. The Garbage comparisons do not surprise me but definitely have me intrigued.

My first thought is that the tracklisting was done with vinyl listening in mind, so Oh Mother ends Side A and Sorry Etc. kicks off side B
