I Can’t Be The Only One That Enjoys The Widebody He Did On This
You’re 1000% right, his mustang widebody is so creative and cool
I want to do this too my camaro I think it would look good
Just that in my state on North Carolina I can’t find any camaros
Get a blowfish racing bracket it supports the shifter so when they’re drive train flex the shifter flexes with the trans I have it in my 3v and it improved lockouts and shifter feel a ton
I was going to say this very thing as it was on my list. Unfortunately it is discontinued
I also heard the CHE torque limiters work well.
love the videos. You are the definition of cool in my opinion(you ride BMX, have a sick house with a sick workshop and ride costume made cars). Cant be beat.
Really appreciate your support 🤘🤘
@@Kordare No problem just wish i could mod my cars like you do(hoping to buy an E30 and mod it but i dont have a workshop)
@@oskarsusnik3343 you just gotta start and be patient! I'm self taught with everything to do with cars and I definitely didn't always have my shop to work out of.
@@Kordare Am trying to be and just fixed my Puch e50 and love it and am starting on my driver’s licences and am on a mechatronic high g school
@@oskarsusnik3343 In my last couple of years of engineering school. Mechatronics is a dope area of work, follow through with it!
That thing sounds like a koenigsegg CCX for an early Agera with the short exhaust run wow
That's a first, I'll have to look that up now 😂
I just looked up what CCX is and yeah it sounds similar for sure 😄
You are 100% right.
The motors are actually fairly similar the koenigsegg v8 is derived from the Ford v8
For the lockout issue at least in 5.0 Mt-82 s550’s, a mantic clutch or mcleod rst clutch fixes it.
Blowfish racing bracket is what you're looking for to fix that 2-3 lockout, they're becoming harder and harder to find though considering they no longer produce them for the 3650.
I also heard the CHE limiters can help a lot.
11:35 it sounds like an over reved Cummins and I love it
That came out sick. Love the Burnout!!🤘
Thanks 🙌🙌
Nice to see it together now!
My favorite 3v mustang!
🙌🙌
Living the dream man!
Man I would love to see a day in the life type video from you. just your average day to day
Maybe I'll do one 🤔
Wow what a ripper and you really can't wrong with a classic Hurst shifter! Looks minty 👍 🇺🇲
Thanks I agree!
I have and MGW shifter with stronger locating springs that makes the 2-3 shift perfect with a Blowfish Racing support bracket and it's like a totally different transmission.
Definitely subscribing, this is so sick
Appreciate it 🤘
That car sounds amazing, makes me want a 3 valve so badly
I went with the MGW shifter. No lockout in 3rd at all for me.
You should film the next drive at "leguna seca"
Another video?! Oh hells yeah!
Trying to upload a lot more 🤘
Sold my s197 for a s550z I love the look of 3v s197’s, but can’t deny how good coyotes are in the s550 chassis. And s550’s don’t look bad either, too bad Ford hasn’t put a good clutch in the car
nice 👍🏻
Haven't had time to follow your videos recently by I like the addition of the camera man
I'm thinking to do that more often, really helps speed things up and make it a little more interesting
I saw you drive by my house in Quarryville today, was pretty cool to see the mustang in person!
Yoooo awesome! I'm over at the skatepark
@@Kordare I would definitely be over there if I wasn't stuck at home on steroids for sciatic pain man lol
@@Z3CHYD dang get well soon!
@@Kordare thanks man! 70 hour work weeks and being stubborn have caught up to me!
Still my favourite 3v
🤘🤘
You need a watts links for that solid rear
🔥🔥🔥🔥
You don"t need to buy anything. Palm an push your 2nd to 3rd shift. Don't grab the shifter for third just palm and push. and don't let me get started on fourth.
That’s what I do with mine
I love your videos
The algorithm is messing with you for some reason
Thanks! Yeah it doesn't like me right now but that's okay I'm not stopping.
Had the same one on my mustang! I loved it. Only bad thing is those two screws that hold the handle to the shifter. Mine would come loose from time to time and make the shifts feel weird. But other than that it was great
Yeah that actually did happen to the other one I installed. If this one ever does get loose I'll loctite them in.
Same here, always came loose. Definitely watch out for this. I used a little loctite and it been pretty solid .
Did the shifter coming loose cause you to grind into gears ???
@@its8bpm554 No, just felt it come loose and had to take apart the boot to tighten the bolts back up. Ended up putting blue thread locker on it and never had that problem again.
This car reminds me of the 2005 HW Mustang.
Going to head to carlisle ford nationals this year. I'd love to meet you and see the car
I might try to come out!
Definitely worth it. I'll have an s550 and mach 1 with me
Let’s goo
You should make a video about the rpm act so many people do not know about it
this makes me miss my s197 so much 😭
😥😥
Try a stainless steel clutch line, 50$ fix.... might help the lockout. The stock is plastic and can expand. Just don't loose the clips! If you do there is a VW replacement as indont think ford sells it separately.
I was reading that the che torque limiter brace seems to be the best fix
@@Kordare That is what my research is pointing at as well. The blow fish racing bracket was the go to, but it's now discontinued.
Really wanna drop a short throw in my car but I don’t know any other way of putting it in other then dropping the trans or doing what u did. And I feel like dropping the trans is such a pain in the ass for a shifter and cutting it is just to much for me.
You also could get it in by just unbolting the driveshaft. That would be the easiest way without cutting.
I want to meet you one day
Maybe someday 🤔🤔
What kind of looks and comments does this car get you out and about on the streets?
I want to know this too!!!
It's pretty funny, some people don't know what it is, a lot of positive comments and interest as to how I did the widebody.
Hey is the motor and tranny stock ? Im building my 3v in a similar way and was wondering if you've done any internals
All stock for now! Should probably do a clutch and solid driveshaft soon though.
Would love to see the reaction of people of this car at a car meet
It's pretty funny, some are a little confused, some don't know what kind of car it is, a lot of positive comments overall.
No aluminum driveshaft bro?
Not yet....
WHAT IS THAT BLACK CIRCLE YOU HAVE ON UR DASH ?? I just bought a 3v and that same exact thing is on mt dash and I have no clue what it is
I believe that's just a piece of plastic for a suction cup mount. Previous owner probably put it there.
You should put bucket seats in the mustang
true but these are very comfortable for stock seats.
The console doesn’t need to be removed for install for anyone attempting to do it
Yeah I kinda realized that too, but since it's so easy to remove its not a bad idea just to have it out of the way.
Is there a way for me to get the is300 exhaust you used to make
I might start making it again but don't have a timeline right now. Keep an eye on FB and IG for an announcement.
@@Kordare sweet. I'll be waiting
Do you like super cars as well and if so do you think you’ll get one?
Yeah I like some of them, and I'm sure I'll eventually get one. Just don't have near the funds yet to practically afford it.
What turbo kit are running and do you have any other supporting mods on it? I'm thinking about boosting my 07 GT.
On3 kit and basically just everything that comes with it. I'd suggest getting a real wastegate though
Right on Bro. Thanks for the reply, I have a Tial WG and BOV currently but havent decided which Kit to go with. Its between on3 and CX racing. Been following for a long time and love the Mustang content (all your content really). Keep it coming!
@@bowdisheousmaximus1342 appreciate the support and you'll be good to go with the tial. Check out my turbo install series to see some of the challenges I dealt with.
Wyd year mustang is it
2006
what do you do for a living????????????
I'm an engineer but that means nothing. Its all about being smart with money and living below your means.
You need a better slave cylinder for your 3rd gear problem, if it ain't that then syncro gone
I've read the che torque limiter brace usually fixes the issue.
@@Kordare do a video on it! I’d love to see if it helps and will get one myself if it does!
Will do!
MGW fixes this problem.
First
The only solution to fix that is to remove the transmission and ship it back to China with a note that says TRY AGAIN because in the end if you’re going to miss 1 gear you might as well just miss them all.
hahaha apparently the CHE torque limiter brace solves the issue.
