    I'd really like to hear more about rope drop strategies specifically for resort guests

  • @donjernigan3435

    For resort guests: MK - You will go to Seven Dwarves (SDMT), Space Mountain, or Peter Pan. If you bought SDMT LL and dont want to ride twice then the other two are where you are going. Then get another ride in before the park opens for the GP assuming you are not too far back from everyone else. AK - You are going to Avatar like everyone else. You should get there just before hour early via Lyft and avoid the bus which doesn't run until an hour before to get there faster and beat all the buses. If you have the LL for Avatar and dont want to go twice, then Safari is your next option. Epcot - You are going for Remy's. Go in the back gate. You can get there via Lyft by dropping off at the Swan and Dolphin and walking about 15 min from there if getting there before parking opens (which I recommend). Also there is no parking for the back gate, so the front gate folks have 1/2 mile to walk to get there. If you are at an Epcot resort you can just walk to the back gate. If you are on the skyliner still do the Lyft, because those lines are long for rope drop. DHS - Same strategy as Epcot, but you are going to go to ROTR and stand in line. You could also choose Tower of Terror (TT) or Slinky if you bought the individual LL for ROTR. Second ride after Slinky is Toy Story. Second ride after TT is Aerosmith. After that do everything All Ears does.

      I would add deluxe resort guests on the monorail line to EPCOT should head to Frozen Ever After as you won't make it to France fast enough to beat the Intl. Gateway guests to Remy.

    Would Allears be willing to do a video of where to shop at all of the parks to get mickey ears? Maybe highlight the hidden store at the parks, which stores have kiddie ears, etc. Stores with the most unique ears...
    Thank you to the All Ears team for all of the videos, shorts, etc! Best videos on the web❤

    I rope dropped Remy through Int’l Gateway as a resort guest last December. Perfect plan…except Remy didn’t open on time. I decided to stick it out and managed to ride after about an hour wait. Definitely be aware of possible ride closures!

      We rope drop Remy from international gateway last summer. Remy, Frozen and test track in less than an hour after early entry. ( with a stop at Kringla’s bakery)

    @colinrichardson3887 Год назад

    We were at Epcot in a mid May afternoon and Remy’s was s 35 minute wait and Test Track was about an hour. Whilst my family were in Test Track I did a walk up to Space 220 which was quite a wait but just on my to do list as I don’t do roller coaster rides. One of our party keeps an eye on the wait times and we’ve all been able to do most of our individual activities. Wait times have generally been quite short.

    great tips! especially not rope dropping remy if you are not entering from international gateway. epcot is a nightmare to figure out right now unless you know exactly where you are going. you loose a lot of precious time.

  • @michaelcertain415

    Love you guys, but if you are staying at Walt Disney World resort and take advantage of early entry then Seven Dwarfs is your best choice. You should grab a Virtual Queue for Tron, a LL for Jungle Cruise or Peter Pan's Flight, and catch the first bus in the morning from your resort. Side note, they start running 75 minutes before park opening, not 60. If you do catch the early bus you will be on or close to the rope and walk on. In April we used this strategy twice, and walked on both times. The second time we then went to Small World, which was just long enough for us experience before lining up for the 2nd rope for the other half of the park. We then rope dropped Big Thunder Mountain and walked on while holding a LL for Jungle Cruise. We then rode Pirates and Haunted Mansion with little wait as well. If you're staying off property this really doesn't apply, but on property this is the best way to go in my opinion.

      No chance when ILL often sells out

    • @earlwatt7677
      @earlwatt7677 Год назад +1

      @@MrGibbo9876 what is the trade off for that revenue? When you see the number of guests standing at rope drop to avoid ILL, those are idle dollars as well. Much better to have those people out of lines and in stores, which Genie Plus will do and allow them to come back at a later time. ILL cannot account for the lost revenue of people in lines. And people in lines aren't spending money.

    • @MrGibbo9876
      @MrGibbo9876 Год назад

      @@earlwatt7677 you've got a valid point there. But whether its genie plus or ILL you are still having a lengthy stand by as they are both paid services. Those people will still be in lines so considering that, they may as well keep it as a paid ILL as it more often than not sells out as well as genie plus which is exactly the same service.

    • @earlwatt7677
      @earlwatt7677 Год назад

      @@MrGibbo9876 true. We rope dropped seven dwarfs during the holiday during our extra thirty minutes, and almost everyone else did the same. That took everyone out of circulation and we had genie plus, which decreased its value. If that first 30 minutes allowed us to reserve a time for seven dwarfs, we could have knocked off other attractions and had more time to shop. All I’m saying is that wasted time in line early led to additional waits all day long. More waits equal less shopping and less customer satisfaction. One simple change and the entire day changes for thousands of guests.

    Are there not still ropes at rope drop? I thought they were still stretched across the points you can’t go past until the park officially opens. Every rope drop video someone defines it like it’s only a metaphorical rope now. Idk, I’m not usually at the front but last time I was, there was a rope there.

    • @claveauannie
      @claveauannie Год назад +1

      Depending of where you are, there will be rope or not. When we were waiting for 7 dwarfs before early entry, there was a rope before fantasy land open, but when the crowd got larger, they remove the rope, but ask people to wait for the signal. People in the front row did listen… but I hated rope dropping 7 dwarfs… people are crazy in fantasyland. I rope drop every single day and that is the only time we got hit by a stroller and pushed…
