I am from Barbados 🇧🇧 I have Panamanian 🇵🇦cousins and friends. My family been going over there since the 1880s when the French was building the canal and again in the 1900s when the USA 🇺🇸 was building it. I am glad I have family there.

I always had my theory that their flag represents real geographic areas. Like the blue star in the white square represents North America, the red square represents the Atlantic Ocean (or the Caribbean) , the blue sqare represents Pacific Ocean and the red star in the white sqare represents South America.. But guess I was wrong..

Wow! Props to that Yuan(?) guy for being able to visit Lanyu. From what I can get, getting there is a challenge in itself. Currently, ferry services there are suspended, there is only one flight there from Taitung (quite the distance from the capital Taipei), and the flight can only carry 20 people max, since these are turboprop planes. And that is assuming you managed to book a ticket there.

i'm panamanian and i loved this video, along with the previous one, the only thing that i have to call out from this one is the minute 3:04. That shield that you showed there displays a grub instead of a pick that was an error that happened when Panamá was founding there 10 th province back in 2013, but i still loved the video btw, really like the fact that you guys know more from Panamá than most panamanians.

STILL A BETTER FLAG DESIGN THAN HALF OF US STATE FLAGS.
I'm in Panama. Our so called sovereignty was conveniently recognized, so they wouldn't have to deal with Colombia. They were dragging their feet at the time, and the Roosevelt administration wanted to get construction started ASAP. There's a movie called The Panama Canal, that shows the country over a span of over 100 years. It goes in and out of different eras like the 1900s, the 1950s, the 1960s (during the student riots), 1970s to the then current time.
So thats why Keith looks like Blanka from StreetFighter
