The jump in graphics from red and green to yellow is impressive, and as with your other vids, it really shows how much detail they were able to put into the artwork
I have a theory that it should be possible for Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal (but not Red/Blue/Yellow) to use 8* color sprites instead of 4, by overlaying two sprites of 4 colors each over one another. (*Technically 7 colors, since each sprite has a transparent "white" color)
Now I just need a FR/LG rom hack with these sprites

Your videos deserve way more views, I'd like to see the opposite of this (GBA sprites with GB/GBC era colors)
You should play emerald sea glass then :)
@hikarikibou9880 well, I know what I'm playing now.
By improving the colours make the sprites look Anime accurate. The team got it so close in Yellow. 👀
Yellow BY FAR had the best sprites of at least the first 3 generations
dudeee this is so cool, the oddish line improves a lot
Awesome work, you deserve many more views!
These look incredible!!
Ngl, A lot of these look better than Gen 3 and 4 sprites now
Mew and the Eevee line look awesome 🔥

Pretty cool
Can you add them to a rom?
This was brilliant to see ! However im like 80% sure the sprites for Clefable and Vileploom were not the Pokémon yellow ones
Have you confirmed your suspicions in the meantime ? Personally I think they are the ones, but i don't want to assume
Wait, using Paint? You absolute mad lad.
What-If Pokémon Yellow with Color 2 Generation
now do it with glitch pokemon /j
