* episode one of my new ASMR movie club!! I’m so excited to nerd out about movies with you guys! there’s not too many triggers in this video, just some rambling with a little bit of popcorn! if you end up watching any of these films, report back to me, on what you thought! 🫶🏼🎬

Ahhhh I love your list!!! I would say these are my top 10:
1. The Holdovers (I mean cmooon. I’ve seen it 3 times now)
2. Talk to Me (my fave horror movie in years)
3. Saltburn (oh girl, we are in an exclusive club of obsession with this gem)
4. Barbie (just amazing)
5. The Iron Claw (tears upon tears and Zac Efron is a king)
6. Bottoms (hilarious and iconic)
7. No Hard Feelings (also HILARIOUS, agreed with all your points)
8. Theater Camp (you’re so right, more people need to be talking about this!!!)
9. Priscilla (way better than Elvis tbh)
10. Anatomy of a Fall (I just watched this and I can’t stop thinking about it tbh)
Honorable mention: Stop Making Sense (I just love the talking heads… what can I say)
I still need to see a bunch of movies like Hunger Games, Poor Things, Past Lives, The Color Purple, all those new horror movies, etc. etc. but this is it so far!

This is a pretty good list tbh. I’m a big scream fan too and the recent movie was Rlly good but i feel like the franchise is def gonna suck now that Jenna and Melissa are leaving as I’m sure u know😭
May December and Poor Things are my top 2 movies of the year but Saltburn is also a great choice and makes me wanna watch more Barry Keoghan movies
Don’t get me started 😢 I am so frustrated with what they did to Melissa, and so sad to see the core four drop out 😤
I haven’t seen a few of your top 10 due to being a not big horror fan, but I agree with a good amount of it.
I just recently watched the first Scream for the first time, but I’m excited to watch the rest of them

As a fellow scream fan, did you love the tv show? I thought it was pretty good, hella cheesy, but that's kinda screams brand ngl.
Oh I LOVED it! I didn’t love the final season, but everything else was chefs kiss
i watched 149 movies last year ;P i am sure half of those were just rewatches though because i started 2023 off strongggg with a final destination hyperfixation, and then i became hyperfixated on an actor so obviously i had to watch his movies .
i wiiish i could say my opinion on your top 10 ranking but unfortunately the only films i watched on it were scream 6 and saw X but dude those movies were SO GOOD!!!!!

3. i began hyperfixating on conrad veidt again (who was already a special interest to begin with) ... i try to bring him up wheneverrr i can ... but FUN FACT! he was in what is believed to be the first pro-gay film EVER!! it is called different from the others and was released in 1919 :D in 1933, the nazis tried to completely destroy all the copies by burning them, and it was nearly a lost film, but thankfully, there was a single incomplete copy in an archive that was in russia . the version of the movie has summaries of the missing scenes throughout!!
