That's terrible luck. Glad to hear nobody was seriously hurt. Those pesky sump plugs.

@@cliveh6015 Yep.....the dymag wheels have gone off to be refurbed and the original OE wheels that were in storage were fitted in the meantime. Well spotted though, imagine if it was some sort of crazy conspiracy 🤣🤣🤣😁👍

That's some proper bad luck but at least he walked away from it. I've met Hayden a couple of times last year when he had his RSV4, nice chap, think he was quite intrigued with how well I go on my old 90's bista bike!

I literally just watched all of the videos today of you building out this bike. Thats such a shame. What kind of event was this, just a track day?

wild. our track orgs here in the midwest (US) require drain plugs to be safety wired. at minimum, people should RTV silicone every cap on the bike. takes seconds to do.

Novice groups at many trackday orgs don't require safety wire. Perhaps they should for reasons like this

@@wrxzboost any race event bikes are checked for lock wire but not track days here, there's insurance liability implications if the organisers start checking peoples bikes apparently.

I thought that even road bikes that did track day's had to have their sump plug wire locked?

No or the oil filter and oil filler as in racing but trackdays want a brake guard
