Happy I found your video. I just started diamond painting and purchased a few canvasses to practice on. There were diamonds all over the place, as I attempted to work on 2 canvasses . Big mistake not having storage boxes! I have a Harbor Freight in my town. Love the system you showed. I’m sure you saved me money! Thank you🥰
The Harbor Freight containers are my absolute favorite. There's also Elizabeth Ward containers which you can find knock offs of. The Elizabeth Ward ones come with different sized containers but are more expensive than the HF ones! :) I always keep a few sets of containers on hand for multiple projects!
@@BevBee I called my Harbor Freight and was told they discontinued the storage boxes. Then ai looked and saw your video was posted 3 years ago so it made sense. I will look in to Elizabeth Ward, Amazon, etc. I will most likely buy a few sets, too. You would not believe where I found a number of diamonds🤣. Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. Be well.

I thought I was going to be limited on using my Harbor Freight containers to less than 24 colors but with this solution I will not. I will definitely be purchasing the 24 compartment box
You will have to tell us if you like it! I’ve used them but I just had a hard time with drills getting in the cracks of the small containers 😂 it could be I’m just challenged but 🤷🏻♀️
I have that issue too! BUT someone in the comments recommended putting the label on the opposite side (the back) and then storing them with the back facing up!
I do love the harbor freight. I might put my sticker on the other side and put the latch down. That is what I do now and they are easy to grab. Thanks for sharing the idea
They are nice little containers, just look around the sides and back before opening because the drills will slip in there and fall out everywhere when you open them.

I have never used Harbor freight. I started out with the short and tall plastic screw-top jars from Michael's/JoAnn's, in addition to the 5 pack of 4-slot (pill) containers I got for free from PWD. Now I use Elizabeth Ward for my big projects and Craftibly 60-bottle cases for 2 snack sized kits.
I have been using the harbor freight since I started dimond painting 3 years ago. I flip mine over and put the stickers on the back so not to catch the sticker.
If the little containers are placed in the box with a smaller edge facing up will the big box be able to latch? I thought that might give the extra space needed to grip them easier.
Harbor Freight !! I hate you !! jk. I wish they would ship to Canada. I'd LOVE to get some of those. By the way .. can you take the little divider out of the empty section to make 1 long section? Then your long dp pen would fit. Enjoy !! :)

@@BevBee sorry Bev l forgot you lived in Canada, l live in spain and it cost me alot of money l pay over double for what l buy plus l can pay inport duty.l have seen somebody on RUclips using a box filled what looks like Harbour l think there on amazon l keep meaning to have a look its looks like the tic tac box sue

EW are great too! I like these because they're all the same size, but EW are so useful!

Yes I do use Harbor Freight I actually like mine I just tap the back so the drills fall and they don't spill when I open the little box. 🐝

I'm fortunate enough to live 2 minutes from harbor freight and have never used anything else but I do need to go get the big ones I use 2 for every DP

Harbor Freight are definitely my go-to drill storage. The tic tacs are too small!

I live in Canada. If you're able to get someone to send them to you, they're awesome containers. I prefer them over the Elizabeth Ward!
