Beautiful results, and thanks for the ventilation tip!
Great tip about putting the candle in the freezer! Always wondered how to get them out clean from the glass!
It actually worked so well! I was very afraid it would stick and I would cut myself
Wonderful tips! thanks a bunch!
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. It was wonderful work, and your passion is so contagious ❤.
I like your coordination a lot. I use scented candles a lot, buy the leftover issues to add to the filling of my crocheted toys and items for my students, and to tge children in the women's shelters. I give them all away.
I tried it ones, and tge toy I made was just a simple colorful ball as a Christmas ornament, but tge child I made it for, is learning challenged, so he gets frustrated, whenever that happens, he grabs the ball I made him, squeezing it in his hand to relax and tge warmth from his skin, release the scent stronger, he even puts it in his bed with him. So I started making different items, with whatever leftovers i had, it's been years, and people love it. It makes me feel great. When I give them away, the first thing people do is smell them and smile.
I'm going to use your method to make a few more candles for myself or give away. There are still a lot of leftovers in my cabinet. ❤
Happy New Year, dear.

Just what I needed to see I found my box of old candles..😊
Love this video. Going to order wicks so I can do this
What a great idea for reusing old candles. I've made candles using old thrift store teacups. Definitely going to start keeping my candle remnants. 😊
Thanks so much for checking it out! I think the teacup candles are adorable and I bet it would be so easy to make with old wax
Hey Jacque love your energetic intro and the drama of the candle scenarios lol 😂 thanks for sharing super helpful and so many amazing candles!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much Jess🤗
Love your enthusiasm!
Thank you 💗 😊 💓 ☺️ 💛
Jacque, I have a few candles that I really enjoyed and did not want to waste the unused wax. Thanks for the video and useful information.
I have a suggestion to speed up the wax melting. Preheating the candles in warm water should keep the glass from breaking. Use a second pan with warm water to start bringing the temperature up, then move the candles to the hot water. Thanks again for the video! Best of luck!
That is a wonderful idea to preheat the candles!! Thanks so much for sharing it with me and for checking out the video. I hope you have an amazing weekend
Hey Jacque! Such a great idea! When I worked in a local boutique, we would have a candle burning all day and I learned if you let the candle burn long enough for the entire top layer to melt it burns evenly all the way down! So now I leave my candles lit for several hours before blowing them out! Thanks for sharing your experience!😊💞✨
yes! you definitely have to let the candle melt long enough or you are asking for it to burn funny. thanks so much for checking this out
thing is, I learned this too. Some candles just won't do that.. They'll tunnel regardless, either because they'd needed a second wick for the amount of wax, or because of quality.
@nikedoesthings ❤️thanks for the tip
Wow Jackie, lots of candles , I sometimes melt wax too and add essentials oil , I have an oil I add its called Leather and Tabbaco.. very nice job on the candles 👍🏼💜
hi 😀 it amazed me how simple but satisfying it was. Leather and tobacco, i bet that is an awesome scent! thanks so much for hanging out with me
New to your channel.
Thank you for the tip about putting the candles in cold 🥶 water!
Wasn't explained in another video!
Can't wait to revamp my old candles!
Watching from Eastern North Carolina ❤

Thank you so much Jen! I couldn't believe how easy it was or how much money I was able to save!
That's so awesome 👌 👏 now I HAVE to go to dollar tree and do this one for my flannel scent I have been saving the last drops of and sniffing whenever I need a fix🤣🤩 now it can live again in the home🤩🙏
I can hook you up with some wicks 😃😃😃😃 I have oodles
I love this! I need to buy me some wicks so I can try this! Those candle jars with the lids are great for cute storage! I just to scrape the remaining wax out and put it in my wax warmer. Then the jars get used for q-tips and other toiletries. But I love the idea of making new candles!
OMG wicks are actually so inexpensive on amazon! I have oodles left over because of other projects. thanks so much for checking it out Brandi!

Awesome!
gracias mi corazon
Can essential oils be added as they melt or at the end?
Yes you should be able to add essential oils when I added the scent right before pouring 🫗
should i use a heat gun to melt the wax?
At which part? If you mean in general I wouldn't I imagine it would take too long to melt and might affect the glass jar.
How do you get the circle in the middle of the stick
The kit I bought and linked came with them that way. I imagine you could use a dremel.
Anyone know what song this is in the intro? Kind of felt that one in the soul😱
I will see if I can figure it out
It's called
In Our Hands by Ten Towers
Thank you😊
where did you get the candle pot for a loose waxes?
I got it on amazon. It should be linked in the description 💗💗
@@mymagicalhome Just FYI. The links you refer to are not found in description. the candle pot and the kit with sticks/holes.🤥
@wintercame I apologize, I will fix that promptly. Thank you for letting me know.
How long to boil the water
It is more about getting the wax to the right temp. than a time for it to boil. Generally speaking you want it to be 180-185F for soy and paraffin wax 200-205ºF for palm wax before you add your fragrance. If you want it to be unscented or if it already had a scent you want to bring your wax to 120 - 165 degrees before you pour them into the jars. I believe I poured closer to the higher number. Thank you for checking out the video! I hope you are having a nice day.
Thnx u for a new idea☀️🌟🌙🙏🌺🌼🌸🌻🍁🪻🌷🌹😘godbless Madame magical home🌠I will do this❤❤❤
