That Mexican Strat looked pretty cool! I liked how you guys did this video. A little more candid than the other guitar show videos you’ve done. ‘You love to see it’ lol
Thank you so much!! This means a lot cause that’s what we’re aiming for this time around! Good temporary change of pace or potentially a change to keep going forward??👀
You’d be surprised how few people tend to take us up on it! We never charge no matter who you are! Always gets our pals over to the booth in the mornings though haha
@@aflashfloodofgear I have to believe that's still true even when you know a lot more than I do. Even though we've all got our favorites it's just cool to see something new.
Everyone has coffee now - it was in several booths at NAMM this year...I'm thinking if I was going, maybe I keep a bottle of something nice under the table and Irish up a few coffees for the better customers. 🙂 Thanks again for taking the time to produce and share your experiences! EDIT: Your channel, Zimm's, Randy's and several others have put together your own sort of slice/genre of GuitarTube - it's pretty amazing, really. That's a lot of views already!
I’m watching that Firebird V on Reverb and hope to get it soon. I really liked that Masterbuilt Strat with the bound fretboard. And have to admit, one beautifully flamed Les Paul! Great find.
Man I wanted to go so bad this year. I’ve never been and I live in Jacksonville so it’s so close. Sending the kid and the wife to DC for a school trip this year so all my money is TIED UP!😂 So, thanks for this video adventure!
Damn, I told myself last summer that I was going to go to this and totally forgot. When and where is the next guitar Expo in Florida that I should check out? I'm in Daytona area.
Oooh I have one of those Ibanez S series with the poplar burl top. I love it. The stock pickups are kind of meh, though. But the guitar itself is fantastic.
The best guitar, was at the end of this video, the Rosewood Tele on the left side, inthe background. Question: till now,i haven't seen a single Burriss Royal Bluesman in all your video's of all the trade shows, where you had a stand. Are they also totally rare in the US?
If you didn't do the show, I would have never known about your shop! So, you are wise. And now big question what should I offer to sell gramas 1968 J-50 w/original case and strap for? 9/10 sound amazing.
I used to have one of those early seventies Gibson 335 guitars that are Walnut colored.. with trapeze tailpiece... that was this sweet guitar.. thing is I don't have the dough to have expensive inventory around lol
I found radio tubes dated from the 1930's wrapped in wax paper in a damp basement once and they looked brand new. Simple invention, wax paper, that does a wonderful job of preserving metal, electronics.
the top gun theme from 4:37 sounded awesome
Started at 4:30. Sounds like Maverick was in the building!

lol I caught that. Always wanted to learn it as a kid. ❤

@ yeah I dig the change! Get to see a little more of the interactions. Good direction moving forward I think!
26:49 🎉Yaaaay! I’ll go by and have a look! I love Mock Shop. Stoked to have them here in town.
NEVER get tired of seeing the walk around!!!
Then we will keep providing them🫡🫡
Alex and team bought a couple guitars from me at this show. Flash flood are a Solid group of guys. Thanks alex

The complimentary coffee is a classy move👍

I'm a Les Paul guy so anything along that line is my fav. So either your last score or the Gold top earlier.
No wrong choices ✅
the packaging for those pickups is awesome. love the look of the wax paper.
We never have shows like this around Houston, thanks for sharing the trip!!!
What a fun bunch of folks, that Rick guy is great 👍
his partner or at least he helps him at the show is Paul Drennan, really nice fellows.
I always enjoy these videos and to see all the different kinds/colors/shapes of guitars and basses out there.
You never know what you’re gonna find!!

Love that a lot of people were trading in cool guitars for the Fenders and Gibsons! Glad they got you plenty of PRS’, Ibanez’s, and ESP’s!
First guitar show of the year (?) You love to see it ❤
For us yes!!
Love to see it!
Great doing business with this group.
Tons of great gear !! Thanks fellas !!!
Thanks for always tuning in!!
Did you guys make a deal on the sequined go-go jackets? The only sale everyone wanted to know about.
Love it

The walnut Telecaster behind you.
The absolute best of the show was the blurple sg Jr with short vibrola at 25:41. Oof. How do you just walk by that?!?
