What a hit by Jansen in the second! Wow!
I was there today, best Jays game I’ve ever been too, my excitement to see this team in the playoffs is limitless.

I got to see some great teams, all the way back from the beginning.

9-0, 10-0…..think I’m seeing a pattern. Ross Stripling pitched a solid game. Jansen and Co, cranked out 21 hits. Hope the Blue Jays can pick-up win #90 tomorrow! ⚾️
winning tomorrow would also mean we went 16-3 against Boston, a new club record

@@AsianVideoGamer Yeah that’s a good point. Look at Marcus Semien; had a career year in Toronto; took the bag of dough that was thrown at him by the Rangers in free agency and hasn’t been nearly as good this year.
@@Leafgirl99 he has a 6 war this year with a near 850 ops in the second half. He had a slow start but had completely turned his season around

I'm from White Rock so have always been a fan of both the Jay's and Mariners, so I can't win\lose depending on how you look at it if we play you guy's.
Saw the Jay's many times at the old King dome. Very happy for Seattle fans, first the NHL and now playoff baseball.

I really think Stripling is one of the best pitchers in the MLB this year. I know this game was against the Red Sox who haven't done well against the Jays but still Stripling has been very consistent and has had many very good outings this year. the Jays need to keep this going when they play the O's so they can have home field in the Wild Card round. good job to the Jays on another win 👍

@@Jiggle-ps2dx if they trade him, we riot. Idc how good Kirk is. Jansen is the superior game caller and defender. He’s the leader behind the dish. At the plate he’s got a lot more power. Kirk has better bat to ball skills but Jano has shown surprisingly good discipline at the plate this year too. I’m happy he’s finally making strides as he hits his prime.
@@Jiggle-ps2dx I actually disagree...the Jays will get WAY more in a trade for Moreno. He has the most potential out of all 3. I would be willing to trade him if we can get a proven #2 or #3 starter in return.

Danny Jansen is so underrated. At one point this season Kirk was the clear best catcher in the league and Jansen is having a better season than Kirk. Jays have two top 5 catchers on their hands and the best catching prospect.

They have the talent…easily. BUT what about Berrios? Can’t have that guy pitching like he has been all year in your playoff rotation. Also Vlad needs to be Vlad. He is having a down year for his standards across the board. And because Berrios being horrible and Ryu injury and Kikuchi being a disaster Al year, the pen isn’t fresh and might have been overworked.

Was at this game today up in 500 over the LF side. Wow what a game! Just before Teo hit the home run I was egging on the foul side to make the wave happen and wham! The waves kept going during both home runs. Great atmosphere and wonderful energy by the team. So many people ready for next weekend and I'm hoping we'll face Houston. I'm ready if the Jays are! Hazel Mae needs to leave the guys alone or ask the right questions. Do you not see what the guys are doing on the field and how they feel? Stop being redundant.
Instead of ground rule double stopping the runners that would obviously score: *how about a staged relay* ... The runner starts at third as soon as the ball is thrown from the area it was bounced out of. That way teams could "challenge" if the run would have scored fairly? Could be cool

If Jansen had a full season , he will get 35hrs
First, he has to stay healthy. Second, he has to show the ability to be consistent, which will get him at-bats as a DH. As along as Kirk is on the team, he'll never get more than the 90-100 starts at catcher. Third, he'll need to make adjustments when pitchers start to pitch him differently if he keeps hitting the way he has.
He's been great, though.
If Chapman can start getting hot in time for the playoffs watch out

Great game but we still need to clinch home advantage or we may not go very far. Nice to see the bottom half of the order starting to catch fire, hopefully they can keep it going through the playoffs. Berrios is still a problem though for our starters line-up < Troublesome. Btw does anyone slide into home plate as beautifully as Tapia?
