I've listened to a few of Alice's live performances and she is amazing. What I thought I was detecting as her straining her voice I now think is guts, bravery and artistry like the ugly cry for actors. Alice stretches and reaches to deliver her subject to us official musical notes be damned. Hear me, feel me, know me. Great job Alice and band.

Beautiful. Ending was kind of strange, but it's refreshing to hear something different. She kind of reminds me of a rougher version of Nora Jones, but with more soul. Not to compare them though; they are both good in their own right. :-)
