    It takes time to see results! Stretch. Stretch. Stretch .... and wear shoes! With inserts! I buy mine from Walgreens and they work just as well for me as the expensive ones sold by doctors. I know people who have fixed their plantar fasciitis using this info. It works. I wish I had known before I went to the doc and been "sold" on their expensive inserts.

    I had it in both feet at one point. I tried all these techniques and exercise, massage the whole works. Even tried the newest medical procedure on one foot and nothing worked. Nothing helped until someone told me to tape it for quite a few weeks. Was told to wrap it around your foot from one side of your toes, behind your heal and continue up to the other side of my foot with the I think 2in sport tape. Then STAND on a piece long enough to go around your foot just to hold the other tape in place. Don't just go around your foot and try to stand on it, because it will hurt. You even sleep like that. You notice relief right away. Finally it went away and has never been back. It's a pain to keep changing the tape but will feel a lot better. The inflammation needed rested to heal.

    Thank you for this my son who we adopted before my 47th birthday and his 3rd started loving me pulling him in a wagon on my walk through our neighborhood (he has autism) this year. He is 6 now and I am 50 and my planters must have been injured as I wake up and can barely walk in the am so these stretches, massages and info will help so much, Thank you. When my Dad was still working in his 80’s his Dr. also recommended frozen water bottles to put his foot on and roll it slightly back and forth too. Going to try that also.

    Thank you, I had no idea what was wrong I’m active and physical always outdoors working on my property or out hiking with the doggie. About a month ago I notice some pain in my heel I thought it was my shoes maybe the insole was defective. It was only in the bottom of the heel like I had walked with a stone in the insole. Just the heel bone hurt. Then I went for a long walk with my German Shepherd up hills and on rough terrain. When I got home I could barely walk my heel and arch hurt so bad. I am following all your suggestions I cannot be down like this, way to much to do and never enough time 😊TY so much I pray this all helps, feel like it’s in both heels but right one is really disabling.

  • @mlpreiss
    @mlpreiss 3 года назад

    I've been dealing with PF since I was a kid. An idiot during a pickup tackle football game purposely ran across the bottom of my left foot (no joke intended) after I was tackled and face down. He not only ran across it, he ensured he emphasized it. He injured my foot for life, affecting my gait; my knee; my hip; the development and usage of the muscles in my leg; and my back - not to mention, of course, my foot. I didn't let it slow me down. Forty-five-plus years later, my foot still aches when I trail hike and the muscles in the bottom of my foot occasionally spasm when I move the toes on that foot. Hopefully, these exercises will help. Thank you!

    Found a stretch on a runners website that worked like a charm for me. You pull your big toe back as far as you can and run your finger around the inside of the ball of your foot until you feel the sore tendon. Keep pulling your toe back and press down hard on that spot for about 5 minutes.

    Had this horrible condition and suffered from it for around 2 years... till one night I switched to sleeping on my tummy and it went away the next morning. I guess it could be the way the arch is bent that solved it... but in a way its the opposite of the stretches recommended by the doctors and physios (which did give me temporary relief but never solved it ). Never looked back ... people who find it difficult breathing when lying on their tummy are not recommended to try this. Cheers.
