It was on the radio and MTV/VH1 when I was in 7th grade.
It reminded me of this girl I liked in kindergarten. She never really liked me back, but we were friends. Our younger sisters were friends, so she'd come over with their mom when her sister would be dropped off....
It's the tone and feel of those experiences that this song brings back. It takes me right to those days, and connects me to them.
