Those FMS Multiplex Fun Cub Mini Me clones are a really good frame Dave. "Props and Wheels" and "Ground Control RC" have videos on it along with a few others. GC generally shows a very thorough set-up and adjustment series on his planes. 1 of the annoyances with it is that, as you have found out, the standard servo leads are exactly the wrong length. For your usage it would probably be best to solder in extra wire length so the leads can just plug into the receiver separately - no y-cord/extensions to struggle with when assembling/tearing down and separate connections to your receiver would allow programming the FS-i6 for flapperons/spoilerons for STOL. Though they get up smartly even stock. We found the thinning of the foam needed for that wing mounting clip system to be a weak point (with our Mumbo Jumbo Airlines type piloting) so a rubber band conversion has fixed that. Enjoy it before the Fun Police clamp down on us all! 😉
I need to take the wing apart for transporting, so stuck with the Y-connector for the ailerons - hopefully I won’t need the flaperons as the wing has a nice aerofoil section. I’ll watch out for the weak spot that you mentioned on the wing fasteners.
I really like your video. I wanted the real one but it is too expensive , i do not have the skills , and it is not available in the USA. So i am looking forward to see your flight video.
@@DavesFunRC Just realized that shipping is about double of the cost of the plane....I wish it was cheaper. I am looking forward to see the video even if i so not but it. Thanks

Hi, Alex. Glad you liked it. The build seems pretty good for the price. I will be publishing the maiden flight soon.

Yeah, sometimes the shipping cost to Australia from AliExpress is very high. I paid about A$58 this time - not cheap but decided go for it.
Came here from aliexpress review photo😅
