@TTVxIndicaxHigh That is a quite specific request I have not recieved before! Why do you prefer a thumb throttle brotha? That is a stand up scooter and E-Bike type of thing.
@radicalelectricmotorcycles Last time I tried to use a wrist twist accelerator, I almost injured myself and could've ended up having a broken spine. That was a KLR600 that I almost got myself fucked up on. I am used to thumb throttle like the ATV's have. I just prefer to have a thumb accelerator then a wrist accelerator. It's much easier for me to ride. Lowers the risk of me getting a serious injury for people who just just unable to operate that kind of accelerator. I would like to ride a sportsbike like yours, but I prefer to change the accelerator to a thumb instead of a twist. For my safety and it's easier for me. I also get to enjoy riding that bike without having to get a Scooter or ATV.

@@nickkolb5871 Yes you can do this, however the batteries on the Predator are not like a regular E-Bike where you just pull it out and unplug the wires - You have to remove body panels and then the housing itself to access the wiring. This requires some technical skills and if done incorrectly could cause damage. If you are not experienced in this technical area I would not advise doing it yourself. As it is easier and less troublesome to roll the bike into a room temperature space instead ⚡
I’ve had this bike for just under 2 years and have barely put any kilometres on it (426km) and the batteries are already shot :( or at least one of them. I have no idea why I’ve taken such good care of this bike and this happens honestly thinking of just selling it cause it’s gonna cost almost $1000 to fix it and I bought the bike for $3300 I don’t think it’s worth it to fix it. Unless there’s another place to get batteries from but I’ve looked and haven’t found anything yet
When lead acid batteries sit for too long without being recharged, the plates deteriorate and become unusable. You could get new lead acid battery - I do recommend to pack a new lithium battery instead though. These lithium batteries are much more efficient, last longer, and have an average of 1200 - 1500 full charge cycles as opposed to the lead acid type which can get up to 500 in some cases that will last for years :) You can purchase a new lithium 72V 40Ah battery in the link here 👇 armadascooters.com/product/72v-40ah-lithium-ion-battery/?ref=Radicalelectricbikes.com If you want it installed at the shop by an approved mechanic, send us a message to radicalelectricbikes@protonmail.com and we will book you in for an appointment 👍
@@roninmotorcycles the only time I really let them sit was during the winter but even then I charged the batteries a few times over the winter. Other then that I’ve ridden it almost every day and kept the batteries charged. Idk what happened one day I took it off the charger it was fully charged drive it a few blocks and then it started slowing down and couldn’t go past 5km/h but still showed that the bike was full charge. I kinda think that I got faulty batteries to begin with and it’s not covered under warranty unfortunately I’m just kinda contemplating my options I kinda just wanna sell it and get a ninja 400 cause then I won’t have to rely on a battery. Also even when it was fully charged I would maybe get 20-30 km on a charge then it would go super slow and needed to be recharged and sometimes took even longer then 6-8 hours to charge. There was a few times where it was charging for 13 hours and the battery charger was still showing red.
@@nickkolb5871Yes this is the reality of Lead acid batteries. If you don't top off the battery every day or two it will deteriorate. I almost never recommend the SLA types anymore unless it's a young or beginner rider who has never been on a full powered bike. What would be best for you is a 80AH battery or larger which will get you between 80 - 100 kms with keeping the throttle to a medium and not completely juicing it. The Ninja 400 is a fantastic bike, but you will need a full class 6 license to insure it though and pay more for price of gas and maintenance.
All sport ebikes start at $3599 CAD for the SLA battery models. Lithium battery type is more expensive but worth the money for the improved performance and speed 🏍️
It is a very high cost fly wing ninjas are going for less than 5 k with a 5000 w hub and a 72/104 lithium batters .. super fast and the battery last around 75-100 mikes in sports mode maybe more .. the bike is nice but I feel like the cost need to be lowered to compete in the market …. Either way your a good representation just wondering if you could get the price down with fly e bikes being so much more affordable
What is the weight and seat height of this bike? I saw a store in Edmonton selling this and I'm interested. Do I need a motorcycle license for this one? Or just the ordinary driver's license. Thank you
No license is required to ride as an E-Bike, it’s optional if you would like to insure it as a low speed motorcycle using a regular class 5 license here in BC. Each province is different so make sure you research your local laws and speak with the police department for clarification.

Any cons I should worry about? I usually ride a yamaha 125cc YBR G which goes to a top speed of 115km/h.
Hi Sarim! The 20Ah battery is smaller than the one we use which is a 40Ah, so going at 70kph+ you would only get about 20 kms of range with that 20Ah option. With the Predator as listed on our store with the 40Ah, you will reach 40 - 50 kms. We can also upgrade to larger batteries like 80Ah & 100Ah, these upgrades can cost more as you go higher in amps.
@@roninmotorcycles well the vendor is offering 20Ah and 32Ah batteries, claiming 100km and 200km of range. They do provide warranty for 1 year as well.
@@roninmotorcycles I think my comment gets deleted not sure why, writing this the 3rd time. I've done a test drive on the bike and I drove around 75km/h and felt it could go more but I had to keep up with the traffic. The vendor is 3rd party I think and claims 110 to 130 km/ h top speed.
These motos are designed for people who want a nice set of wheels that does not cost an arm and a leg. A bike like what you described will cost upwards of $25,000. Whereas these ones like the 72V 32Ah SLA Predator is only $3599. You get a discount of $580 when we remove the standard batteries and install lithium ones. You can choose from 40Ah, 60Ah, or 80Ah, depending on your budget :) As you go up in amps so does the price, each unit has a lifespan of average 5 years before replacements are needed.

Hi Yani! Send us an email to info@radicalelectricbikes.com with your shipping details & we will prepare a quote for you.
How long can you drive per charge? And how long does it take to charge ?
80 - 50 kms with lithium ion 72V 40Ah, or 30 - 60 kms with SLA 72V 32Ah. It takes 4 - 6 hours to charge the lithium type & up to 6 - 8 hours for the SLA.
And what's the range?
License needed?
If you would like to insure it yes, a regular class 5 is needed.
Did you buy it that colour or get it painted? I can't find one with that colour.
Yes I can get this color for you, are you looking to pick up or have delivered?
@@roninmotorcycles pick up would be e ideal. Do you have a shop in Kelowna ?

This can be done by unplugging the governor wire - it is white on the left side under the panel near your left leg & unclips from a black snap.
Do we require license to ride this in Canada?
If you would like to insure it yes, a class 5 is needed.
Is there any way for somebody to have a thumb throttle instead of a twist throttle installed on this bike?
I do prefer the thumb method. 👍
Without the govenor can it reach highway speeds? max 70mph? I'm seriously looking for an e-bike for my daily commute and maybe weekend goofing off.
The Predator can reach speeds up to 75 - 80 kph without the governor.
Yes this bike can handle the highway with a range of 40 - 50 kms when riding on a a level surface with no wind, rain, extra weight & rider that is 175 lbs.
I would stay in the right lane to allow cars & faster bikes to safely pass while enjoying the ride ⚡️
With an 80Ah battery or higher you will get more range between 80 - 90kms but this will cost more $ than the 40Ah type in this review.
Hey there bud where can I buy this bike in my city Edmonton Alberta because I would absolutely love to buy this bike big time bro
I am happy to assist you mate! Yes the best way is to order it online and have it pre assembled for you to either put the rest together yourself, or have it fully built which will have some additional labour cost plus shipping which I can get you a good deal for 👍

To drive a lsm bike do I need a license or not?
Not as an ebike with the pedals on, however LSMs do need to be insured with a class 5 drivers license in BC.

I got a question so for these bikes you don’t need a license or license plate or insurance right?? And can you please make a video on how to drive A Ebike tutorial please… cuz you explain it so well .. other RUclipsrs are hard to understand please?

How would you recommend storing these during winter
Inside a garage with ventilation and insulated from the cold 👍 Or in the house if you have a spot for it!
@@roninmotorcycles what if I was to take out the battery and keep it in the house and put it in a shed with a cover over it would it be enough
Do you have controller specs? Thanks.
Hey Pete! The Predator uses a 3000W 80A Controller.
I don't have garage space, so could this be charged and stored outside with a cover?
Yes you can do this, in winter it is not recommended so during the cold season I would store it indoors.
These lithium batteries are much more efficient, last longer, and have an average of 1200 - 1500 full charge cycles as opposed to the lead acid type which can get up to 500 in some cases that will last for years :)
You can purchase a new lithium 72V 40Ah battery in the link here 👇

If you want it installed at the shop by an approved mechanic, send us a message to radicalelectricbikes@protonmail.com and we will book you in for an appointment 👍
What electric sport bike I can buy for 1000 dollars ?

Should I go for it? Any cons I should worry about? I usually ride a yamaha 125cc YBR G which goes to a top speed of 115km/h.
Hi Sarim! The 20Ah battery is smaller than the one we use which is a 40Ah, so going at 70kph+ you would only get about 20 kms of range with that 20Ah option. With the Predator as listed on our store with the 40Ah, you will reach 40 - 50 kms.
We can also upgrade to larger batteries like 80Ah & 100Ah, these upgrades can cost more as you go higher in amps.
