  • Hey there guys! This is a very quick run through of applying for the ppq 526 permit and I will be doing an update to this very soon thats a lot more in depth, slowed down and concentrated, though I wanted to put this out there as I had told friends I would do within the week.
With that said, please check out Wally Kern's video here:

Hey just wanted to let you know I recently applied and the separate state applications that are required are
    Alabama
    California
    Delaware
    Florida
    Louisiana
    Oregon
    Vermont
Didn’t know if maybe they changed it over the last few months but it could help someone else :) thanks for the video.
Also saves time do not add anything that’s not on the accepted list they will make you revise the applications.
And do not put any US territories.
And all Cubaris are accepted under Cubaris murina

Is Montana still a separate application?

You don't understand just how much you've helped me with this guide. My months-long quest to complete this form's destination section is at last over and I was able to submit my PPQ-526 today! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my isopod bins ;)

That makes me so happy to hear thank you for your comment! That's exactly what I'm aiming for as I definitely felt lost myself, so being able to provide any help is a genuine privilege to pass on. Feel free to send any update once you get those permits in, I'm excited for you! c:

great video! just went through this process myself but didn’t exclude those 5 states from my initial application. working on amending that, but otherwise i did pretty much the same thing and should be successful as well :-)

Absolutely! The great thing is, if anything else does need to be changed, Dr. Blanco is very accommodating and glad to work with you to get your application processed.
I’m confident you’ll get word back from them soon, & I’m really excited for you!

Can you update these permits? For example if I started selling a species that I hadn’t listed here.

Great question! You absolutely can, when your permits are set for renewal you can select "amend" to make revisions or changes and go from there. This is also at no extra cost.

Are there fees associated with these permits?

    • @PedrosPods

Great question! They’re actually entirely free to apply for & receive, so you won’t need to pay a cent for the PPQ-526 permit
