The more I learn about EPIK the happier I am with my decision to go the private/hagwon route. I had no idea the co-teacher finds your apartment! Crazy!
I lived in Cheongju in 2006 - my first year in Korea. But I lived in Sachang-dong or Sacheon-dong. I can't remember, but it was the countryside, for sure! Man, my apartment was _not_ good. No way! It's been 11 years, and I might return to Korea with EPIK. But I'm a bit older now (obviously), so I'm concerned that they'll cast me in the countryside. Thanks for the video!
I have watched videos about all south africans teaching in Korea, you all have this certain accent, Am worried I might not get in because I don't have it 😂😂😂

Hope that you get a placement that you like 💖
Congratulations on moving to Seoul 🔥
Thank you 😊
Not bad hey
How much would you say was transport to and from school more or less
I wasn’t really paying attention in Cheongju but now living in Seoul I average about ₩60000 every month give or take
So are you now going to a private school since you living Epik.
I work at a non-teaching job now :)
Do you live in South Korea permanently?
I’m not a citizen, so I’m living here until I decide I don’t want to anymore :)

I’ve heard some pretty diverse SA accents that side hehe don’t worry about it. I had like a whole other accent that I used when I worked though 😂😂
May I know where is your apartment located? And how much is the monthly rent? thank you, have a nice day ( ◜‿◝ )♡
I wasn’t paying rent so I’m not sure and I can’t share the exact location because a new teacher lives there now 😊
@@TheMusingGirlSA okeyyy thanks a lot, and have a nice day 🤍
your school bought a lot of things for you (and the next teachers)😅
Yeah they were really nice about it haha 😊
