Just love Gretel Scarlett. Saw her in Grease, she was fantastic. Will probably see this as well when it comes to Brissy just so I can watch her again live.
Saw this on May 20. Lots of fun. Heard a person in the foyer say, "I'll have to see the film now." Heavens. There were several sneaky nods to the film in the show.
Thank you. Very enjoyable. I have never seen a theatrical version of the movie classic. I think it takes a lot of courage to do it and, IMO they did this number remarkably well. Congrats
Damn zaddyyyy THAT WAS AMAZING. Yas choreo with using that whole stage, I live! And it was a different space which gave them less levels and things to use(if in the house or something) but still worked it and had be interested the entire time. I love it.
I started watching this with lower expectations after browsing kid versions of the play (Im lina in the Jr version) then i see this and its like WHAAAAAAT WOOOOOOWWW OMGGG
@@haroldrisch1725 it was used for Roll Call in 1943 in a Japanese prison camp at Santo Thomas, Manila. No words, just a scratchy recording. I was 2 years old. The first song that became part of me.
I always wanted to do this number and the Singing In The Rain. But I suffer from two chronic disabilities. No rhythm and no talent. I'll just have sing and dance along like nobody is watching or listening. I play the piano the same way. Everybody is so pleased when I stop.😋
I so god damn want this as a full show. The live music and singing makes it amazing for a movie version of the stage show. I am so dying for this and there is some really good quality clips like this one online, so where’s the full show!
This is very good but you can tell that they're Australians putting on an accent. Edit: I was a cringy over-critical 17 year old when I wrote this, years on I find this comment just as terrible as you do
@HoneyHoney 2020 me too! I thought they sounded convincing. I am not sure who would have thought they sounded Australian. Without the title I would never have known.
They are great but they need to make it more authentic. Like, the singing styles. It needs to sound like it came from that time. I would know. I do musicals myself.
This is a theater production. No cuts or edits unlike the film version. As much I love the film, this one isn't bad at all for a live stage performance.
I recently got casted as Kathy and I hope my performance of good morning is half as good as this
Cool Cat05 I’ve seen you comment that on a few other sitr vids 😂
Oh my god of course I comment on like every one I see
One of the best stage versions of this song I've seen! Love it
Wow, these guys are incredible!!!

I saw this three years ago in Brisbane and absolutely loved it! Finding this video brings back all the memories ♡
I like it. Thanks for sharing this stage version. A continuous take and live singing so bravo!
This was amazing! Such a great performance! Now I want to watch the entire show
FANSASTIC! This could've been on Broadway! This version is just as enjoyable (yes, different) from the movie version. LOVED IT!
i saw this liveeee and i'm doing it for my school musical! we are 2/5 shows through
Do you know where I could get sheet music?

Awesome work guys!

lol I'm zelda
As an American, I totally loved this. Bravo!
soo good!
I had no idea where this song was from. Now my life is complete.
Singing in the rain, the name of the song is Good Morning
It was originally performed by Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney in the film Babes in Arms, 1939. You will find it on RUclips.

Its so awesome
Bravo! Loved it!
Good, that's so great!!! Awesome!!! Goshh
Fantastic!
I think so too! But people are commenting very rude and horrible things. It’s sad. But I think they did great
That was amazing. I recently became Don Lockwood and I am going to make this my best performance to date
Gretal Scarlett is incandescent
This is amazing!!
magnifique .
She gives me such strong Laura Osnes vibes

SO SAID GOOD MORNING !

Jax Entertainment NO WAY WHO WOULDVE GUESSED. It’s almost like they’re Australian or something
I’m American and I thought their accents were pretty darn good.
@HoneyHoney 2020 me too! I thought they sounded convincing. I am not sure who would have thought they sounded Australian. Without the title I would never have known.
Yeaaa they keep putting an emphasis on “MORNIN”
American accents are ridiculously easy to do. I don't know why you all flatter yourselves so much by thinking it's special.
2:32 - Nice high kick from Gretel Scarlett!
😍😍😍😍OMG
Uk 2021
Apparently it's pronounced good moerrnin
Rip Debbie
Something is missing. Ah, the pep step and speed of Americans.
They can’t even get 1 mile close to Gene, Debbie and Donald....
What makes you think they wanted to copy anything ?

Right
Really ?, Where? at home for family and patient friends ?
it sounds very different from the original version
are u serious?
Ugh I wish my parents let me tap. Now I’m 15 and I still don’t know. :|
you could totally start!! i’m new to tap this year and it’s so much fun!!
They tried so hard to speak in an American accent
That’s the point.
The original's better. There is no beating Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor or Debbie Reynolds. This is a saccharine pile of garbage. NO THANKS!
Theresa A.
very true
that's a bit harsh... doesn't fully work... still not there to pull it off

Not bad but not great
Garbage? This is theatre. It's meant to be a little different. This is an amazing version with a lot of hard work done.
A murder was committed that night and the victims name was theater!!! HORRIBLE
Oh!, go find your name and give the world a rest.
is she aware that she I wearing a dress
It’s a dance show you idiot. What do you expect her to do?
