We greased the pole and watched the squirrel fly off! We did feed them this past winter. One squirrel my husband named "Rupert" would take a peanut from his hand. His brother, we thought, Geordie would be more reluctant and close his eyes when he took a peanut. Geordie is the culprit who tried to empty the bird feeder and eat from the ground or hang from it to eat the suet, etc. (He also would eat all kinds of seeds from a dish.) We didn't mind the seed on the ground because there are birds (and a rabbit) that eat from there. Now that it is Spring, they have all gone away and I look forward to the main reason for peanuts, Blue Jays. Love the Jays.

I live in Ontario Canada. FYI - My squirrels love safflower seeds. They can sit on the tray and eat for hours. - Your presentation is good though. Thanks.

Thanks/ That is why I say you can never say never and never say always when you are talking about wild animals!

Good video, you have useful content sir. One thing worth noting, which happens on my Squirrel Buster, is even though a squirrel can’t really grab seed with a single hand and bring it to their mouths, they can still knock a bunch of seed on the ground and eat down there.
