To my recollection, there isn’t actually a scene where they kiss under the bridge, rather they capture the departure of the kiss, & to me it felt a bit too forced.

It was kinda like they just wanted to get it out the way having the first three eps be abt them only, i guess so that they could tell the story of the main relationship - masahiro and kousuke- with at least some mention of kensuke and hasekura’s.
Well imagine a romance anime where everything is perfect. It wouldn't be as interesting. Hence I think the appeal of BL, is that at its core of being malexmale which society doesn't see as normal, there already something that affects the relationship.
@@bysllov I don't think forcing yourself on someone is every romance anime. It was clear that Kensuke was uncomfortable when Hasekura forced himself onto him, on top of that trying force him into sex.
