Fun Fact: 'Prepare to Defend Yourself' battles, no matter you win or lose, will not affect your Night Terror status. Let's say you have lost to a 'PtDY' battle, you will still get to Night Terror if you won't lose/ring out other battles that are NOT 'PtDY' battles
I'm not sure which version of the game you guys played, but mine was not interrupted. Only thing is that I had played those battles so many times I never lose them. I thought they did interrupt. Perhaps they should have made it that way. It made me better as a Soulcalibur player.
Wow, excellent job with Sophitia. So while I plan to get this game for my birthday along with Soulcalibur II, would you recommend a few tips for Tales of Souls? I read how choosing a character's Soul Edge or Calibur weapon can help out along with finding a few moves that the AI struggles to defend against.
Practice, practice, practice. Just in general, not just for Tales of Souls (which isn't that hard). Try out different characters to find movesets that you're comfortable with, then learn at least a good amount of their moves and how they can be chained together. That's really what it comes down to. Sometimes the AI will pull some straight up input-reading BS, but for the most part, Soulcalibur as a series is pretty forgiving and easy to get into.
This may be super late but as you may know by know soul Calibur 3 has this particular thing that some characters have moves that the AI has struggle to block and they always fall for it and thus can be spammed for easy wins. This is useful for the extremely hard / cheap AI in the final stages of tales of souls and in quick match if you play extremely hard. I don't know many but the most famous seems to be xianghuas great wall. Do the spin with A+K fully charged and do the move and the AI will never block it , making it mega easy with any opponent in any difficulty. For Sophitia theres one move the AI never blocks which I love to use but I don't abuse it to much since I know how to play as her , it's the mirage satellite (rising A+B) if you do it without charging it fully you can abuse it but it's posible yo spam it over and over fully charged and the move is unlockable if it's fully charged.
Nah, hardly my first time. I hadn't played the game in a few years before I recorded this, though. His AI can be pretty bullshit at times, though, agreed.
@@eroalduin7305 Or start being boss mode Sophitia, Cassandra etc etc....many characters have A.I tricks and cheap move to them that the A.I itself can't help but try to counter.
3 things: Hold down triangle and X when you start the game to enable progressive scan (there's probably a menu option for it in the game, too), and enable Align Sprite hack and Wild Arms Offset hack in the GSdx Advanced settings and hacks menu. This will fix the blur and the vertical lines. And of course, always use the latest git version of PCSX2, 1.4.0 is quite old by now (not that it should make any difference for this particular game). Performance will vary depending on your hardware and settings, so I can't say anything definite about that. If you have an Nvidia GPU, use the openGL renderer, otherwise use DX11. Also keep in mind this video was recorded using the internal recording functionality of PCSX2 which ensures perfect frame delivery and pacing, which is why it can feel a bit smoother than it might be during regular play. In my experience SC3 plays just fine, though.
Sophitia and Cassandra's P2 skins are so good in this game 🙏😩
Holy crap, Li Long’s intro scream in Japanese is so amazing!

False* sometimes that will interrupt your route to night terror.
@@nathanalexandre9043 No, they won't. Source: The game files itself.

IIRC if you lose Olcadan's PtDY battle you cannot get to Nighterror, but im open to be corrected if thats not the case.
Really? I retried certain stories multiple times cos I lost one PTDY match thinking I'd get the night terror path.
i find that sophitia's outfit and haircut so great and yet I can't find any art of it ...
My favorite Soul Calibur! Cool memories!
I like the Japanese dialect, but in English dub, I love!
Woah! How did you get it to be so smooth. It looks so great!
11:23 Cassandra????????
@Rainbow Gamer Because that's Cassandra's character selection animation
Sophitia, I promised will keep you Cassandra safe!

Wait why did you turn on the Japanese voice acting SC3 had the best English cast in the series.
That is the prettiest sophitia of all.
Thanks for all, you Cassandra Alexander family!
Damn bro nice job beating Night terror on your first try! Pretty much everybody else gets killed by him quite a bit before they finally defeat him

wobbles oh ok, just saying. Cause most people including myself usually get their asses handed to them quite a bit before they finally take him down
Not if you use yoshimitsu :D

What about Inferno route?
It's not a joke comment you can actually face Inferno instead of Night Terror but you need to play SC III Arcade Edition mod
WOW.....YOU'RE GOOD
He's ok.........would be good if he got a perfect on Night Terror which is possible.
alguém?
How can fight a Night Terror
Wow well played but I don't like Japanese dialogues I love English dialogue
Whenever I play this on an emulator the screen gets super blurry
