This is a favorite song of mine. I used to sing it but now, accompanying myself at home, it causes tears to well up and my throat tightens, though I can sing it to an audience. I don't know this singer, but she does a lovely rendition of this song, only forget the hand movements and grimaces, it's distracting. Just listen to her and the song is great, along with her group, love the sax interlude!
So this lady has worked as a background singer for some 20-odd years? What a waste of talent! Her voice is like liquid brown nougat, and her phrasing is just gorgeous.
