Nice coaching by Nicks to use Keays as a defensive forward on Saad. Keays' work rate and ability to get on his own when we had the ball meant Saad had to be more accountable, limiting his effectiveness. Would like to see this more going forward. The return of the Beard to be Feared, the Man who can't be Tackled, The Iguana: Wayne Milera Jr. Great to see him playing with more confidence and taking on the game again (watch his highlights from 2017, 2018 and 2019 for what we've missed.) Fog starting to grow into the player we've hoped he can. Loved that mark he took in the first quarter (on 'Brackets McGovern too ha ha.) Then showing plenty of strength in tackles, fend offs, precision kicking, contested marking etc. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
That was a TEAM effort with some very clever coaching moves. Keays up front was a master stroke and Milera showed some Macca class. One thing for sure, the players are very fit. Showed a lot of heart. Now to knock off the Power - again 👍
They have tried their butts out for most of the season but for little reward, dropped a few close ones, a few dreadful games, but it was nice to get the win tonight and everyone contributed tonight.
Tex has said it turns around quickly, maybe be this game is the turning point for the club . Need to perform & win the rest off the games to finish on a high & take the belief into next year, finally can yell out ,The Crows . With passion.
@@Dontomatios When we flog Collingwood like we did to you boys on your anniversary you’ll be watching us come September. Maybe you can have Heppell tug on his jumper before having zero impact on the game and pathetic leadership

@@Dontomatios yes we played in a brilliant game of footy and unfortunately choked the game and yes it was heartbreaking but the group will learn from it and build.. you got pumped by 84 points and a largely seen as a disgrace by your own club. Great win... The frustrating part being that we can't do it consistently this season... We know we play great footy when we get our shit together but the hunger for the ball we showed in this match has been absent for most of the season... Why? (Edit: just playing the Devil's advocate for a sec... If the pass from Soligo to McHenry at 3:37 covered 15 metres I'd hate to be buying land from the umpire that allowed it. 🤨
Take a bow Carlton, one of the most embarrassing flops of the season. You don’t deserve top 8 getting thrashed like that. How about playing like you’ve got a pair?
@@patrickmilner4149 Unfortunately it was a thrashing. The score flattered Carlton. A LOT!! Carltons attack on the ball, ability to transition and awareness of the importance of the result were all lacking badly. We don’t deserve to be considered anything but a team that’s making up the numbers. If we even make finals. Silvagni not being picked possibly the most arrogant coaching decision all season. This decision was for Vossy to experiment, not for the team. Disappointing and unacceptable performance from us on all fronts. Potentially could be 5 and a half months of wasted effort in a week of rubbish effort and decisions.
@@dancowza6092 were we watching the same game? It was only a 15 point deficit by the time the 4th term came around. That's only 2 and a half kicks. I'm not here to cause an argument and I respect your opinion, but I don't believe that a final winning of 29 points is a thrashing by any means. If the Crows had piled on more goals through out the night and let's say won by 55+ then I would considering it a thrashing

We played with aggression, so many don't argues, it was great to watch
Best game I’ve been to this season!
did i count 3 stiff arms and then a goal by Fog?..beast mode.

Great game loved watching it
The run continues for never beating anyone at the Adelaide oval
good win boys umpies need a fixup tho
they were horrendous
brilliant performance even with some disgusting umpiring
Yeah, we got called for holding the ball way too often and without prior!

Great win let's have a repeat performance in our last 3 games finish the season off strong go you Crows
On behalf of every Essendon supporter thankyou Adelaide 😂 for showing that rabble club who they really are
How Essendon can call any other club rabble atm is beyond me

Start of the end of the season for the Blues
Carlton are nothing special. Great win for the Crows and The Fog is starting to find his feet.

Still makes me laugh that we stuffed up Carlton's season.
Carltons 44 should have been suspended for the fight he started
first

Wasn't even close too a thrashing. It was a close game until Adelaide got up by 3 goals in the final term and put the final nail the coffin
