I know I'm late to comment on the videos, but great job of repairs!! That ball joint fought like hell, but you got it done!! I like that you see a problem and fix it instead of putting it off.. 💯✔👍👍😎
Congrats man!! That thing is like the grandchild of my 71 Power Wagon LOL! (There's a couple videos of it on my channel if you are interested). Out of curiosity are you getting 11MPG all the time around town and what not or is that high way millage?
I plan on going to college for engineering. However While recording this video I was working as a heavy equipment mechanic. I would work on excavators, dump trucks, dozers etc for 9 hours then come home and work on this truck for a few hours.
This is like Camarata, fixing a second gen dodge lol. Same style of vids. Complete with the tripod on the bench seat..😂
Takes some guts to tackle this. Way to go!
The original grill looks much better, good find.
Congratulations great looking ole truck

Enjoyed the video! Never too old to learn. Good to see the old truck still going.
Well done bro. I have a 2nd gen Dakota myself with the 4.7. I love it and baby tf out of it. Enjoy your new toy!

6 point sockets are your friend. Can take a lot more abuse than the 12 point.
Congrats man!
Play in the steering = not great. poor mileage = not great. Lowpower = not great. First car = EPIC!!!!
Congrats on your first car. Hope you'll have lots of good times with it.
Dont over-invest, you'll be upgrading soon enough.
It's a truck
Your so lucky to have access to those tools
Most of the tools I have bought, I only started with a pretty basic set of hand tools.
Have been working on a long format video similar to this about my first car (Jeep Xj, kind of a cousin to yours). Cool video, I’ll be subscribing.
Harbor Frieght has very affordable and surprisingly good automotive tools.
The stuff made in Taiwan is much better than the Chinese junk.
Good job, looks great.
Congratulations!
While it’s apart do the axle seals. They are going to leak since you pulled the shafts
I was literally watching your TikTok’s when I saw the notification
Happy for ya man
Congratulations

All around, I think it depends more of how you drive it than where. If you keep rpms down and go slow vs. floor it everywhere.
Sure just went to Harbor freight and bought one cheap There's stuff aint too bad
Good morning Mr Andrew. I like that you take good care of your Equipment. Would you be friend?
Congrats on the new ride! Are your future career plans in this field?
