Lee Moriarty is criminally underrated. He was supposed to the next BCC member after they recruited Garcia but that never came to be and he currently seems to be going nowhere.
He's always been good. He's just green and in a company that has too big of a roster to remember 70% of the available talent. He'll be forgotten about for at least another 3 years or until is contract expires.
He's definitely got a ton of talent and I think he would have gained A LOT from joining BCC back at the beginning. Not only would he have received much more of a push (look at yuta), but his development would be much further along now.
He just pinned Shibata watchu mean it looks like STP is slowly becoming something and I’m all here for it

One banger PPV is not going to make everyone forget. But if they can string together a good to great series of shows and stories and of course knock Double or Nothing out of the park. I think that the fan base will be a little more forgiving, coupled with the natural passage of time. What happened has happened, the past cannot be changed and at the end of the day, true fans just want to see good wrestling.

I remember seeing Lee Moriarty vs Alex Shelley in the MLW Opera Cup a few years ago. Great to see him get more national exposure
AEW has so many sidelined and still put on a 5/5 PPV. Agree the Jericho match was the low point though
I was entertained by Jericho winning because i knew how much it would piss people off. I laughed for a good 5 minutes. The boos are gonna be insane next time he shows his face lol

I heard that Malakai has a back problem hence why he doesn't do singles and doesn't take any significant bumps when he did a match. I don't know how legit the story though.

no
TBS and TNT titles no longer have ranking systems attached to them unlike the other world belts. in fact those two have almost always been Open challenge championships.
The ranking system never mattered. Orange Cassidy has been #1 on the ranking system since it around 2020 and has challenged for the world title only around 2 times. His last challenge for the world title was against Omega and he ended up in a 3 way with Pac. They never even tried to make the ranking system work a damn.
@@CornBreadtm1 dawg , just because Ranking system exists that doesn't mean every person at the top automatically challenges for the title. especially in the case of Orange Cassidy who was in feuds with others. if you're number 1 and you're feuding with someone else , the spot goes to whoever is after you.
they also DID get rid of Rankings for a while before making it return this year. also Rankings do get reset every year

@@leorelic They flat out said that the #1 spot was a title contender. They made the rules, not me. I just paid attention and called out the BS. When Cassidy challenged for the title, they even pointed out that he earned the title challenge with his ranking.
Orange Cassidy was wrestling and winning every week. He currently has the best record in the company after 5 years of that booking.
He has a better record than Bill Goldberg's life time record with the number fudging.
The only reason that Orange Cassidy doesn't have the world title, is because he is a joke wrestler and it would putting the World Title on Doink the Clown. But if you're going to have Doink the Clown booked stronger then The Undertaker, then you're a horrible booker and might as well admit that by putting the title on the joke!

Seriously, rather than celebrate Swerve Strickland's triumph over Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship, or talk about a potential "instant classic" match between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson, all the hardliner AEW fans care about is the lack of any "'F U WWE" moments, while Khan is STILL defending his decision to show the All In footage. It's like you can make this fantastic cake, but Khan and the hardliners only have their eyes on the cake WWE made, cause they either want it for themselves, or smash it to ruin WWE's day, proverbially speaking.

If they don't change the way they're booking I have no idea but if they make changes like having Tony stepping down as a creative Booker in focus on the direction instead of what's a better promotion wrestling channel and what's not then they have hope.
WWE before their rise of popularity has been a mediocre to terrible show in a few years. And now that they're Andre a game it's about time for AEW to start making changes in their direction

@@paulgraham3902 I disagree because at a point in time if the show was really bad then why we're a whole lot of people watching it then then people are watching it now? Although it is true that AEW in terms of booking has some issues is definitely gotten a bit more stale than it really could have not been especially with the talent they have now compared to Italian we had when they first debut. Wrestlers like MJF, CM punk, FTR, Kenny Omega, In other wrestlers has In the reason why some people are watching. Especially with CM punk and MJF storyline they had.
Whatever you agree or not agree it's now or never forgive to start making up especially since WWE has improved your booking. It's time for the show to adapter guy frankly I bought the show to adapt due to the fact that it has so much talent. And keeps the competition coming.
It would be a shame for all those wrestlers to lose a job due to the company shutting down which I don't want to happen. I know it's the internet and people love to watch a forest fire or a house burning. But I really don't.

Osprey and Danielson put on probably one of the best matches in AEW history, simply incredible match MOTY so far. Congrats to Swerve on becoming the first black AEW World Heavyweight Champion well deserved 👏👏👏

The fact people are questioning whether the injury its a work or not is also pretty good. Clearly something Bryan and Will decided to do together and Tony just need to stay the eff out of the way of it.

Danielson and Ospreay was a great match. And I've already forgotten about it since it had next to no storyline or build. It's a movie that you just watched the ending of, it's cool and action packed but you have no investment in it since the beginning and middle are what build a story to that climax.
Ah, so I guess the months and months of them consistently arguing about who is the best, not to mention the entire IWC talking about it wasn't enough hype for you then.

AEW has learned that so long as they put actual effort into their PPVs and make sure that the majority of matches are actually entertaining, they can put whatever on TV & people will forgive it. It definitely feels like they save their energy for PPVs.
