Jurgen you're a genius man. I'm having so much fun with driven by moss...for the first time the DAW feels tactile and fun to use. Thank you for your efforts
One thing i'd love to have is a short-cut to loop-lock a scene so i can take my time and edit that scene in repetition, then automatically release the lock when i select a different scene. For example, if my scenes are all set Round-robin but i hit loop-lock to repeat the currently playing scene, make some edits, then select/queue the previous scene, it would escape the loop-lock so that i can let it play through to hear my edits in context. i watched it again, so much like the shift-"jamming" (time - 4:50) but have it hold the jamming mode until a different scene.. or something, was selected to unlock the "jamming" mode. so like a combo... shift-hold+(1, 2, 3, or 4) would lock-loop the scene until you selected a different scene?
@larryboy1975 All clips in a scene do loop until it contains only one shots. So, I am not sure what you are asking. The alternative start does also work on Scenes (Shift+Scene 1-4 button) seems I forgot to mention this in the manual.
@mossgraber is there a way to temporarily lock a scene in a playback loop so you don't have to hold the shift + scene keys? I can do this in bitwig manually with the mouse by highlighting a scene then clicking "Looping" in the inspector panel. Then to exit the loop-lock I have to grab the mouse and click "looping" again to continue to the next scene.
one thing that keeps tripping me up is how the (1-4) buttons switch function from scene selection to grid resolution. it would be easier for me if (1-4) was just for scene selection.
Thanks for keep updating Driven by Moss . I can finally setup my clip laucher Jamming set using cheap M-Vave products . ( 2 keys model and SMC Pad) . I want to ask about LED indication when doing track selection - clip or scene launching etc . What makes some products ( any M-vave products in my case ) not getting proper LED indicator /information sent meanwhile I can partially success getting it in my custom template from ZERO DEBUG TOUCHABLE PRO ( IPAD app designed for controlling ableton)
Hi man, I have a request, can you modify the behaviour of the delete button, so that it deletes whatever is already selected? I am trying to work with two launchpads. One has the sessions view open, the other one has the view which has metronome, create track etc buttons. When I select an empty slot on one launchpad and then select create new clip on the other launchpad, it works. But when I press the delete button on the second launchpad, and then select a clip on the first launchpad, it doesn't work. I have to go to sessions view on the second launchpad and select a clip. I wish the delete button worked similar to the create clip button, if this is possible, please implement it. Btw thanks for making driven by moss. You're amazing. I'm having a lot of fun doing live sets with Bitwig now. Thank you so so much
I have some ideas for Bitwig live performane but have no money at moment. I wuld like to be able to map on any cheap midi controller "select new empty midi clip slot for selected track" . I know I can do it with launchpad but If I have many clips and many tracks i need to scrool up down and search what is not ideal for fast live. Ableton have midi mapable button make new empty clip but I like Bitwig and Ableton crash sometimes. other solution wuld be to delete clip but its still one more command coz its usualy another page on launchpad what is also not ideal for live performance. its easy to midi map " select track number x" but for live wuld be ideal "select track and prepair new midi clip" even better instantly select x track start recording new clip and stop and start looping that clip with same button. sorry for english I hope you have some solution 😊
The OXI One has now a mode where it can be fully customized e.g. to be used with a DAW. My implementation provides such support for Bitwig Studio and Cockos Reaper. See the download link in the description of the video.
Obviously you could just go Google this yourself, but the Oxi One is an extremely powerful MIDI & CV sequencer. MIDI controller features were only recently added.
$900? It was just $650 a couple weeks ago. This isn’t only a controller for bitwig. It is a sequencer for controlling all hardware, eurorack, vsts, even ipad through built in Bluetooth… all at the same time. Hence the name Oxi One. Meaning “one” sequencer to control everything. Since you’re surprised about controller prices, you do know how much ableton push 3 is, right? 😉
0:00 Drum XoX Sequencer
7:30 Raindrop Sequencer
11:10 Automation Mode
11:50 New features in Reaper

The more it goes, the more you become one of my secret heroes. As a bitwig user, I now only buy controllers that you already covered.
you are the Bitwig God and the reason I use Bitwig, connectivity is an issue, but It is fixable with your scripts.
Buy this guy coffie now!
Thank you so so much! It helps make BitWig even more powerful!

@larryboy1975 You are the first one asking for this. I checked the Bitwig API and it seems there is no method to toggle the loop status.

The MIDI CC messages needs to be identical for both what the button sends and what triggers the LED.

Can u add the the oxi original chords and transposition tools? It's a thing that's lacking in bitwig
I can't seem to get this to work on my system.. I have an Oxi One and Bitwig, but it only sees it as a generic controller..
Did you install DrivenByMoss? See the video description for the download.

That would be great map feature
All my implementations have a "New Clip" function incl. Generic Flexi which can map any MIDI message to the function.
@@mossgraber I have literally just seen this on the launchpad setting. Thank you
says oxi one crashed, previous version worked fine.. 😥
Try to remove the OXI extension and add it again.
@@mossgraber that worked! thanks!
I don't see anything like that drum sequencer in the Oxi manual; am I missing something? How does this work?
This is a custom script.

@@mossgraber wow, I didn't know that, don't remember seeing it in the firmware update notes. That is really cool!
900$ for controller?! 😂
