Walking through the woods during daylight hours is nothing. I have never known why the same experience at night makes it feel sinister. It is the same with driving a dirt road through the woods. Everything seems ominous. Enjoyed the video.

Because at night you can’t see very well which activates the primitive parts of our brain telling us there could be danger hidden in the darkness

It is 2:15 am where I live and I ask myself: Why I watch at night past midnight?? This is scary and creepy, and a person has to be totally unafraid of a forest to do it at night.

Great walk today Nordin. I think a cool offshoot of this idea could be walking at night, down a gravel road with forest either side ✨ Just so long as it would be safe to do so!
It depends on where of course, but usually safer than in town or suburbs around midnight nowadays.

Whats particular to Sweden wood's that feels safe? I'm not trying to be a Yankee smart ass but are there no predators? I feel safe in our forests but I have a 12" blade and other protection too although I've never had to use either.
Yep, but you can see this casual "phenomenon" in any forest-liked area around the world.
