I love your content! You're one of the only guitar youtubers i've found that I can take inspiration from and learn how to make my own crust punk, thanks!!!!!!!
@@themeaningsoflivesasacat oh it's just a small band in Reims, we don't have a page or other yet but we will release a demo soon ! And yes we have a lot of amazing bands !
I have figured out most of what you are playing but the diminshed riffs I cant seem to really grasp care to explain exactly what happends there. I understands that its your basic power chords but the riffing that starts at 1:40 is something I cant get my head around. The rythm on how to change the chord feels so weird
Try this: E--------------------------------------- B--------------------------------------- G--------------------------------------- D---6-------------9-------------------- A---4----5-------7-----9-----8------ E---------3--------------7-----6------ For the rhythm: I do a lot by feel, but I know that it is really fast! Keep struggling, you will get there! :)
thx! Some kind of Em6, Am9 and Em7. Honestly, i just try to stay in the key of e minor and add a bunch of extra notes. I can make a video explaining such thing in detail. :)
How do you play to a d beat for that crusty sound? And when you add the second guitar with dist what chord is it at 0:37 in the video And when then song really starts like the Crust N roll thingy is it power chords or how do you get that?
1) Basically you play a simplified version of the drums for D-Beat, like: Dada da dada da dada da dada. A bit hard to explain over a comment. :D 2) That chord is an ordinary E power chord with a B in the Bass aka an inverted fifth. 3) Yep, thats just power chords. I covered most of the techniques in this video: ruclips.net/video/KeOOcfmqrn4/видео.html Hope that helped somehow.
@@themeaningsoflivesasacat Thank you so much, I need to tell you that you are one of the few creators that seems to want to help people out. You answer and explain and it is so good I appreciate you so much. I just started a new band I used to play in a more Swedish hardcore band that played more like MOB 47 (Some call it crust some dont I call most things hardcore). So I have been stuck writing riffs like that when the band wants to go in a little different direction.
Awesome. Combine this with some DRI worship and I'll be making pizza crust.

@@themeaningsoflivesasacat Thank so much, Yeah I notice that playing to d beat seems to be alot by feel as long as it fits the rythm.
That crust n' roll groove is tasty
id say this is more like blackened crust🤔
That intro is insane. How’d you write such a good intro?
so accurate
fucking awesome video mate, what are the chords in the intro?

@@themeaningsoflivesasacat thanks brother, for real your channel is one of the best, keeping the crust torch alive!
Add more crust n roll

@@themeaningsoflivesasacatyour playing is amazing I can't understand how you get those chord switches while keeping the same d beat pattern
