    True po lahat ng sinabi mo kabayan 😁👍 taas ng cost of living dito sa SG compare to Dubai.. it's been 2 years since I left Dubai and miss ko na din ang weather duon mas ramdam ko ang init dito sa SG..Super ok naman ng metro dito kaya di mahirap mag commute, pero parang nakakamiss pa din magdrive hehe.. kanya kanyang preference pero for me I might consider going back to M.E. since mas affordable lahat and hindi kakaba kaba kapag renewal ng work pass hahah. God bless po and stay safe!

      Agree ako sayo. Same pala tayo, mag 2 yrs na din kami ngaun. Ang renewal may kasamang kaba pa di ba hehehe. Under renewal na naman ako hope if goes well.

Sa start medyo tight talaga sa budget kasi may tax pero galingan mo lng work mo and if ur company is great in rewarding employees, you will get salary increase every yr and handsome bonuses. Malaking gastos lng dito ang school talaga pero meron namang ibang options, pero yon lng iconsider mo location at kapag public school dito nasa 2-4 yrs ang waiting bago makpasok.

      @@colleen776roblox bigyan kita ng idea, if u want to stay in a condo nasa makakita ka ng 3500 sgd a month meron ding mas lower tinatawag na HDB govt housing to maayos naman cla at mura mas mababa ang rates nila. Ang rent kasi depende sa location. The nearer sa city center or pag maganda location mas mahal cya. To get an idea, try mo mgbrowse sa property guru na app then mag explore ka sa range ng prices doon. Then sa education, di ka kasi makakakuha agad ng slot sa public kasi may pila sabi it will take at least 2-4 yrs bago makapasok. So ang rates ay nasa 24,000 sgd per year kapag private, mura na rate na yan. But i have heard merong new filipino school daw na tinayo dito HSFE isearch mo sa google mas mura dito. Tska ang ibang pinoy families dito, they do homeschooling sa mga anak nila din as an option. So for housing and education of 1 child ang monthly ay nasa 5,500sgd pero as i said pwde ka pa makahanap ng murang housong thru HDB. Yang sgd5,500 safe estimate yan for 1 child d pa kasama food and other expenses nyo. Make sure na yong package mo din kasama family mo sa health insurance. Ano pala ages ng anak mo? You can message me sa email ad ko bacanto.laila@gmail.com if you want to share some details.

      @@colleen776roblox Plus consider mo din may tax dito. Dapat nasa 5 digits sahod mo if wala sa 5 digits, maiipit ka sa gastos lalo na sa school fees. Kapag 5 digits sahod mo nasa 15% ang tax mo so iconsider mo yan sa calculation mo. Pero kapag makapasok ka sa public school laki ng difference kasi ang baba ng rate. Cgro ang 5500 ay kasya na ang education ng 3 kids. Kasi magiging $500 a month lng ang tuition vs $2000 sa private. Saang country ka pala ngayon?

    Hello Laila! One question, for a young european couple, would it be easier to find a job in Dubai or Singapore? We botv work in multinational companies, one in IT and the other in supply chain industries, and we have roughly 5 years of experience. We are considering both cities, preferably Singapore, but we think its harder to find a job in Singapore. Are we right?
    Thank you in advance :)

    • @LifeLessonsbyLaila
      @LifeLessonsbyLaila  3 года назад

      Hi - I suggest you try Dubai first especially these days , it’s a bit difficult to get visas approved in Singapore. In Dubai, there is no tax so you will enjoy your full salary. I have colleagues from europe moving to our dubai office and they love dubai. However, it also comes down to opportunities open for you, you can weigh it based on the package and all and if the company is multi national they normally are successful in getting visas though not a guarantee. In Singapore, you need to have working visa first before u can come. In dubai, u can go and visit and apply at the same time.

    I am in SG for 15 years but Maganda pa din Universities in Pinas. NUS i have a feeling they keep saying it is the best as part of branding, status but UP and other schools in PH produced Brilliant minds.

    • @LifeLessonsbyLaila
      @LifeLessonsbyLaila  2 года назад

      Hi Abegail! Can’t say yet on the quality of education coz wla akong first hand experience, my daughter is still 6yo. I think the rating of schools is based on international standards voted in within asia and for sure there is a reason why NUS topped it for many years. What’s good is that UP, Ateneo and La Salle are also on that list wala lang sa top 10 but hopefully in the future, sana mas makilala pa ang Philippines universities and mas mag advanced pa sa top university lists para maging destination din cya for quality and more affordable education in asia.

      Kaya naman medyo tight lng pero dpende din kasi sa lifestyle nyo. Mapagkasya naman yan if halimbawa sa HDB houses titira and then ang tuition sa Filipino International school dito sa HFIS ay nasa 700$ a month yata. So bale ang 5000$ kasya cya for tuition and housing.

    • @LifeLessonsbyLaila
      @LifeLessonsbyLaila  2 года назад

      Kapag makapasok ka sa public schools nila dito, mas mura pa ang tuition.
